You can scan for driver updates automatically and install them manually with the free version of the Compaq Network / Ethernet Driver Update Utility, or complete all necessary driver updates automatically using the premium version.

Click the Update button next to your driver. The correct version will be downloaded and installed automatically. Or, you can click the Update All button at the bottom to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out-of-date on your system.

To find the latest driver, including Windows 11 drivers, choose from our list of most popular Compaq Network / Ethernet downloads or search our driver archive for the driver that fits your specific Compaq network / ethernet model and your PC's operating system.

After downloading your driver update, you will need to install it. Driver updates come in a variety of file formats with different file extensions. For example, you may have downloaded an EXE, INF, ZIP, or SYS file. Each file type has a slightly different installation procedure to follow. Visit our Driver Support Page to watch helpful step-by-step videos on how to install drivers based on their file extension.

I'm new with Windows and I need some help. I have just installed Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) and I'm having weird problems with my wired network connection. Everything works well under Linux, so this is most likely a software problem. So the problem... Network is slow and looses packets as is shown in pictures bellow. Wireless connection also works without problems, however.

I did install newest drivers from -Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=47620 -Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=47620 Windows seemed to be reluctant to accept network drivers, because of course it knows better than me. Since I was unsure if it actually accepted my proposed drivers, so I also installed Intel -- Driver Update Utility which only tries to install Intel Chipset Device Software (INF Update Utility-EXE Only) but fails without any clear error message. Can't really understand why, but it doesn't say anything about network drivers, so I have to assume that it is the newest version.

I don't know why or how, but suddenly everything just started to work. I'm really confused about all of this. I had already given up. However, it seems that I was too quick to blame your drivers, sorry for that.

Nope, still not working. After restarting the computer, the problem is still there. Maybe what I need is an exorcist. Anyway, everything kind of works. There is just some magical thing after restarting the computer that prevents my connection to work. In other words, another normal day in Windows world. I would love to know how to debug this deeper, but I just don't.

Can you give us more here... How about what model of Compaq laptop you are using and the version of Windows you are running. Do you have a wireless router which other systems are able to access and have you compared their setting with your systems?

Guys I have windows 8 ore 10 and a compaq laptop. And first he got network with the wireless adapter. And shortly after that he kicked me out and could not found any wireless networks around. And on the f12 is a wirlisbutton but he don't chance from color. And if I press fn button with f12 then he go's like in a airplain mode. Wtf is wrong with it

Compaq drivers are crucial to make Compaq devices work normally. If Compaq drivers are corrupt, broken or missing, your Compaq devices will be on the fritz, such as flickering or flashing screen, no Wi-Fi available, touchpad not working, etc. You can resolve these problems by downloading and installing the correct Compaq drivers. Here are two fixes.

Typically, most Compaq drivers can be downloaded from Compaq official website. However, many Compaq products are no longer supported, and the relevant Compaq drivers have been removed from the HP website, e.g. Compaq Presario 2100 drivers, Compaq Presario 2800 drivers, Compaq Presario V2000 drivers. Then you need a different fix to download your required Compaq drivers.

Driver Talent could perform the task of taking backup of the installed drivers very well before the installation of new Compaq drivers, in case you might accidentally remove a specific Compaq driver file. In addition, it can restore drivers, which is very useful when you want to restore to a previous Compaq driver version.

I am having the same issue. I spent a few hours yesterday trying to figure this out but I am still pretty new to Linux so have not had any luck yet. If I figure things out or find a more detailed guide I will share.

Has anyone been able to get this to work with kali? I moved the new driver over to /lib/firmware and disabled the default all fine. I am able to see networks only after turning wifi off and back on in the setting and cannot connect to any. Any thougths?

i have Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 , how do i know the version of my driver , can u write that command line in the 5 step for me ( im Linux beginner and my english is not good sorry ) , have been stuck with no wifi adapter found for 3 days

Thanks! With the dnf provides command I could figure out which package provides the actual blob needed. No Idea why, but non of the iwl* packages were installed. What I did now: # installed the package that provides the blob I copied manually ...

@NoneenoN Glad to see these firmware drivers have finally been added to the dnf package source. When I wrote my original post, this was not yet the case. The steps you provided should be the preferred way to install these drivers on Fedora (and RHEL/CentOS/Rocky) moving forward.

I have the exact same issue. It won't show up on the list of available networks of my laptop. It has windows 10 too. It shows and works fine in other devices (laptops, cellphones, tablets). I don't know what to do about it

The Nokia Tower offers a wide selection of Wifi Channels which is fantastic. These channels are used world wide meaning not all channels are used in all countries. Its a global device. The Channels offered to us in the USA includes some channels with restrictions and not commonly used in typical routers. In this respect the Nokia router is superior, as you can truly set a channel in a crowded wifi area that no one else uses.

More or less, it is something with your computer and not the Nokia Tower. Try refreshing your network on the computer because no matter what, its should be seeing the 2.5 network at the least, no matter what settings on the router.

How do I change set it to "auto"? I have the nokia gray tower. I changed the name it with and it works on all other devices but on my laptop's list of network does not show. I don't know what you mean by select your own channel.

PROBLEM SOLVED. I was having the same issue with an older Asus laptop. When I had the 4G LTE router/modem from T-Mobile the network would show up on my laptop but once I got the 5G one the network wouldn't show up on my laptop but it would show up on all other devices. The work around I found was purchasing the TP-Link RE300 range extender. You connect the range extender to the 5G router/modem then connect the problem device to the range extender. In my case it was my laptop which is now connected to the range extender and working fine. This range extender is 2.4ghz and 5g compatible. Not sure if other range extenders would work as this is the only one I own and have tried. Also, I just ran a speed test and there's no noticeable difference in speed due to being connected to the range extender instead of the T-Mobile router/modem directly.

After installing the T-Mobile Gateway Gray Kit I was unable to see the SSID name in the list of available networks on my 2017 HP Laptop running Windows 10, but everything else in the house connected, since I renamed Gateway to the previous router SSID name. I searched the type of wireless adapter I have in laptop, Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265, and visited Intel site to update Wireless adapter Driver to the latest for my device, 19.51.33.1. After the update I am able to see the Gateway SSID and laptop connects.

Hello all. I am new to the TMobile Gateway. I just got the grey Gateway tower and I am having the same issues with my older laptop not connecting or even seeing my SSID. Everyone else in my house can connect and be on it just fine but when I got to connect my laptop it won't come up. It's a Toshiba Satellite Pro L850 series running Windows 8. I have done everything I can think of to find my connection. I went in and made sure my Wifi adapter was up to date, rolled back the drivers and even went in to command prompt and did the config. Still nothing. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do to get it to connect??
