My use of software is pretty limited to sign blazer elements and I am totally disgusted with that program right now. I had been using draw plus 6x to design, saving the design as a bitmap then importing to sign blazer to cut. This worked perfectly until today when sign blazer just stops responding any time I try to import any image. I'm not quite ready to go to sure cuts a lot pro because vinyl cutting is a hobby for me not a business but am interested in sure cuts a lot 3. Can you import bitmap images into sure cuts a lot? It the software user friendly, especially for someone like me who is just a hobbyist (IDK if that's a real word sorry). I don't want something that is going to take me ages to learn to use, but definitely am looking for something other than sign blazer. Could anyone give me their opinion of this please?
I am learning SCALP but don't have alot of time to play around with it, I hope I will be able to get it to work for me. I have been using SB since my first cut many years ago, I had no knowledge at all of what I was doing and remembering it being SO easy! I thought there was talk of someone buying the SB program and getting updates for it. I would pay what I am paying for these other programs just to continue using my SB without the count down everytime I turn it on and even more for updates
I did get it to work with the cartridge in, however it is cutting wrong. If I have the image in the upper left corner in SCAL 2 it cuts in the upper right and the image is turned 90 degrees to the right ( so basically the machine interprets the mat is turned 90 degrees to the right. have you had this happen before?
How come Expression 2 customers will use it without Craft Room if they bought this machine because it had that interface? Offering USD75,00 to upgrade to a newer one? How about international customers? If that had happened here in Austria, I am sure Cricut would had been forced to do a free recall.
SCAL 5 Results
After the V2.34 firmware upgrade, I could at least send cut commands to the Cricut but any cuts are greatly distorted. I think this might be something with the keys.h file, as the commands are encrypted so maybe this file is not quite right. There are several different versions of this file floating around on the internet I found.
I used method 1 to connect my cricut expression to sure cuts a lot. The cricut cutter showed up and seemed to install correctly, but when I go to cut, it gives me an error message saying there is no recognized cutter and to check my USB connection, unplug the cricut and USB, wait 10 seconds, then plug back in. I tried both suggestions and am still getting the same error message. Do you have any advice of what I can try?

Best bet might be to just include the size with the file so she can resize when she gets it. Not sure why its not coming out right with a matching dpi. Julie over at the MTC_Tuts yahoo group is a wiz on file conversions. She might have some more insight.

If you have already applied as a transfer student, of which there are almost 1,000 who have already done so, make sure to request a transcript with fall 2009 grades on it. We will not be able to review your application unless we have fall transfer work to review! As well, since this is deadline week for freshman, I would suggest you wait until a week later to send in your transcripts. It always helps when your transfer work is not in the 30 or so mail bins of freshman materials!

Why is that a bug, when you split a clip, you is also spit the key frames, that is expected behavior.
It is a good idea to finish doing the cuts, before you start adding filters and key frames, to avoid such issues.

But we also have to understand that it goes beyond that. We have to be prepared to raise revenue. In the Bowles- Simpson Commission and in the Gang of Six, I thought we came up with an honest answer to that question. It was a balanced approach that put everything on the table. Well, this bill makes a serious and significant down payment in spending cuts. Now a joint committee is created to take the next step. I will say this, if the next step is to be fair, if the next step is to be serious, it has to go beyond spending cuts. It has to look at serious questions about how we can save money in entitlement programs without compromising our commitment and how we can ask those who have profited so well in America, who live so comfortably, to join us in this effort by paying more in taxes. That is the stark reality. If we continue to move toward more and more spending cuts, we will literally disadvantage the poor and working families of America to the advantage of those who are well off. That isn't fair and it isn't right.
