Requst time out at the time of registration on sip server in windows mobile

Hello,

I m developing windows mobile application using sipek.when i m going
to register account on sip server,every time i got the status code
408 : request time out..can any body tell me solution of these
problem??

Hello!

There might be hundreds of reasons for that: client configuration, software bug, IP connectivity, SIP server configuration, NAT's, FW's, etc, etc,... What you could do is to: check the network connectivity, check the SIP server configuration (with other softphone), check the account settings, check the pjsip.log file (located at a device root), etc,...

i just checked the pjsip.log at the time of registration..

and i get the log like as below :

pjsua version 1.0 for win32-wince initialized
pjsipDll_mobil dll_registerAccount: reguri='sip:219.91.129.51:5060'

so can you explain me in detail.do you know any running example of
sipek windows mobile.i just downloaded one example from
http://sipekapps.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/MobileExample but its not
working for me.

Hi all,

I am also getting same error in emulator (5.0). I tested the instant
softphone which is working well with the same settings. If any one get
solution please send me too the solution.

Hello!

Have anybody tried the sipek mobile (http://code.google.com/p/sipekmobile) from http://sipekmobile.googlecode.com/svn/trunk? 

This one works on my device without any problems. Before you run the code make sure you have set up the network correctly. 

Dipti, what about the beginning of the pjsip.log? It's important which network interface is used by pjsip stack.

I tried SipekMobileCab_v006 in Pocket PC Emulator 5.0 and its giving
error "Cann't find PInvoke 'ril.dll'"

Hello!

RIL library is used to switch between speaker and earpiece audio output. If you look into the sources you can easily comment RIL related code.

Hi buddies,

I think the problem is resolved for you. Because these posts are 3 years old.
But no one placed the answer for the problem.
I have solved this problem by enabling network connection with the emulator.
follow the steps from http://blog.rebex.net/news/archive/2009/01/28/howto-configuring-network-in-windows-mobile-pocketpc-device-emulator.aspx
then the issue will be solved.

Hope this will helpful to others.
And please share anything you got. that may help some of our buddies.
