Nexus / Screen Goes Blank On Incoming Call

I gave up on SIPDROID v3 after getting a lot of problems with the screen going blank on incoming calls, primarily on VOIP calls but also on GSM (the former were calls over WIFI). I have been using another CSipSimple without this problem for a couple of months and thought I would give SIPDROID another go, perhaps a fresh install might fix the problem? Unfortunately not. Now the screen goes blank on every incoming VOIP call (over WIFI) making it impossible to take the call. As soon as the call is terminated the screen comes back.

SIPDROID did work fine for the first 6 months or so but obviously something changed - not sure if that would be a new app installed, a setting or an update to Android.

Probably just go back to CSipSimple as it works well but I hate unsolved problems!! :-)

Two ideas what you could do:

First you could enable screen on in Sipdroid's Wireless options. Second: Is your proximity sensor working properly? My LG's needed re-calibration after a few months.

Many thanks for your suggestion - the first suggestion worked fine.
I do however now have a problem that has been reported else where in that I am unable to accept incoming calls by sliding the button down the screen.
