Calls aren't connecting

I have a Droid2 running 2.3.3. I've got a Google Voice account, have
downloaded the voice app, sipdroid app and have set up a pbxes account
thru the sipdroid app. I have a green light at the top indicating that
the phone is connected (via WLAN), but every time I attempt to dial a
number it says the number can't be completed as dialed. I've tried
every dialing combination I can think of and several different numbers
without success.

I'm hoping someone can help, thanks!

I  am not real good at this but for informational purposes, are you able to successfully dial out from gmail or google voice from your laptop or home computer?  This information will start to help figure out where in the system you are loosing your call.
