I created a pbxes account, added an extension (ericvlemmix-100) and a
trunk to my sipprovider, and an outboundrouting.

I start sipdroid, but can not register, getting an Registration failed
(404 not found)... My internet connection via my G1 is working ok, so
what am I doing wrong?

On pbxes.com, go to your account settings and retype your password
(twice?) and hit the submit button (I think labeled "Save"?). The
retyping password may be optional, but that's what got the account
working for me.

I had to create an empty rule for inbound and outbound call
connections. Would work perfect after that.
Oh, and you can not have a 100 extension. They start at 200 afaik. So
try 200 instead.

I can't seem to get my head around this. Do you know if there is a
good "help" somewhere? I think I've set up my pbxes account right but
can't be sure.

As a noob, what do I have to set up with a SIP provider.

Confused...

Have you guys found a workaround?

Why can't sipdroid find the pbxes server?
I have set up extension, trunk and outbound route in my pbxes account.
When I try to use a different server (voipbuster) I do get connected
and I can even make calls (but there is no sound).

Any help...?

In Sipdroid enter accountname, dash, and the extension number as
username.

I suppose you guys forgot the extension number, right?

You got it! I just tried it on an Edge connection and it worked, not well (huge delay), but it worked. Can't wait to try the wifi and 3g.

Thanks!
