Iowa Western is selling used tools from the construction program. The online auction will stay open until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024. At that time, all sales will be final and go to the highest bidder. All tools are being sold as is and there is no warranty on any items. All tools must be paid for before picking up and will be paid via the online auction site. All tools must be picked up by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024.

After a few weeks of exploring the new Prospecting tool, there are few roadblocks that I've come across that don't seem to make much sense. For instance, when I try to add leads to the prospecting lead page for one of our sales team members, it will only allow me to add contacts of whom the sales team member is assigned. This means that whenever we want to add a lead, we need to go into the contact record to update the contact property in order for us to add them to the correct prospecting list. It would be nice if we could have access to all contacts in our database when choosing which contacts to add to our prospecting list (Maybe even add an alert if they happen to be on someone else's lead list?).

Next, the prospecting lead list does this weird thing where there can be multiple entries for the same contact. It would be super helpful to either give us a choice of not allowing duplicate contact entries or provide us with a tool to quickly remove duplicate entries.

Lastly, I love how we are given the option to have contacts automatically added to our prospecting lead list based on their lifecycle stage, but again, if the leads are only getting added to the lists of those of whom are marked as the "Contact Owner" then this would just cause more work for us in having to go back and correct. It would be nice if we could use workflows to help us auto add contacts to the appropriate prospecting lead list.

We also have a suggestion: Select a topic for which the person should be contacted. Then the lead list could be sorted accordingly by topic. Example: a team would like to see leads on the topic of software and consulting in the list and also be able to select them accordingly. Then we would have a good addition to be able to carry out small sales campaigns with it.

Agree with the contact owner point. I think it should bring in any that we want to bring in and then the default for each person like in other areas of HS is 'assigned to me' but you can click the X next to it to remove the assignment if you want to see all, or can select another contact owner if you want. This would be necessary for Sales managers in particular who would want to be able to see other people's leads and not just their own ones, and also if someone is off sick you can easily change owner and see that person's ones.

@Em111 there is a permission in set up under sales that allows you to view prospecting as another user. Then on the main prospecting summary page, where you see your name in the upper left corner, you can drop down and choose another user.

We need all the previous ideas summarized below.

- Have access to all contacts when choosing which contacts to add to anyone's prospecting list
- An alert if a contact to be added is on someone else's lead list

We ended up with 3k+ dupes when setting up new lead records- definitely need a native dedupe functionality. We ended up engineering a very complex work-around that is too much of a rabbit hole to go into here but I'll just say it took our team of 3 to figure it out and execute it.

All sales are subject to sales tax until the contrary is established. The burden of proof that a sale is not subject to tax is upon the person who makes the sale, unless the seller, in good faith, takes from the purchaser a valid certificate of exemption.

Note: This tool only verifies Georgia Sales Tax Numbers. It does not verify state tax identification numbers, federal employer identification numbers, out-of-state sales tax numbers, or social security numbers.

As a tool library, we are proud to have a community that is so interested in donating their tools to their community. This often leads us to have an abundance of the same useful tools. While great, it can become too much for us to put into our inventory. With thousands of excess tools, we have the opportunity to give them back to the community at a discounted price!

Categories of tools available include power tools, landscaping, hand tools, electrical, painting, plumbing, kitchen, building materials, and so much more! Swing by either of our tool libraries or check out our online inventory to better gauge the expansiveness of the inventory we have.

All proceeds support the Seattle REconomy community and our tool libraries in NE Seattle and Shoreline. We are extremely thankful to offer this opportunity to our community, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

With the ending of major tool events in Nashua and elsewhere, we believe we have the largest tool swap in the country! Attendees at our March, 2024 tool show came from Maine, Wisconsin, Florida, Tennessee and in between!

The Dealer Tool Sale and Auction will be held rain or shine, wind or snow and is open to the general public. It consists of tailgating (Friday and Saturday outside), a dealer tool sale (inside Hall) and a tool auction (Saturday inside Hall). The vendors/dealers for the tool show set up in the first two thirds of the building and the auction in the last 1/3. The lots are open for inspection all day. The lots usually feature antique tools, planes, chisels and the like but can also have user tools, antiques, collectables, signs and even some scientific-type pieces. PATINA club members, vendors and general public attendees all bid on lots they desire.

Our auction takes place on the same day as the dealer tool sale and starts at 2:00 pm. You are invited to consign tools or items such as books, catalogs or artwork that pertain to the subject of tools.

Tailgating is free to the public attendees and dealers, although the club requests tailgating vendor donations to help cover facility expense. The $15 donations will be applied to membership for new members.

To inquire further about consigning or donating tools, please fill in the contact form below (in doing so please scroll down to the "Tool Auction Coordinator" by clicking the the "send message to button"):

This event is open to the general public and is free to all attendees during regular business hours. Tailgating (outside) is allowed all day Friday and Saturday.
