Hi,
I have the following problem. I would like to perform a registration and continuous re-registrations of a user after a specific time (and/or rate).
The Re-Registrations should contain the correct authentication information to progress to a 200 OK response.
However, the nounce count is not incremented and thus, I receive 401s, when re-registering. Is there a way to increment the nounce counter?
Thanks

Paul

Now, are you talking about 'nonce' coming from the server or 'nc-value' that is initiated and used by the client?
As usual, it would be good if you attach a WS trace of exact signaling example and then point out the value
you want to automatically increase before next REGISTER request.

Sorry its been a while until I could get back to this one.

I am talking about the nc value that is sent by the client, the client increments the nc-value upon each reregistration and resets the nc-value back to 000001 when challenged by the UAS.
I have sent four traces directly to you that show, a re-registration that is challenged by the UAS. which I termed the "long registration" as it uses more messages, and then the short or re-registration that is simply a register request with a 200 response.

I am trying to work out a way to have a scenario that can start off with an initial registration and then re-register using the short form in a loop.unless it recieves a challenge.

Any assistance here would be appreciated.

Thanks

Paul
