I am trying to recreate an issue in which a very long notify message (fragmented ip) is getting truncated.  Is there a way I can populate the NOTIFY section of the call flow with a payload from a pcap?

Thanks,

Hi Jeffrey!

If I understand correctly, you want to get SIP headers and their contents from scenario file and payload from a pcap file?

Thank you for your response, I apologize for the late return, I must have missed the e-mail telling me an update had occurred.

The payload of the NOTIFY is just a very long XML file, so I want to respond to a SUBSCRIBE with a NOTIFY back to the SUBSCRIBER.   I can't seem to enter text into the Scenario Entries Text Area, and when I edit the file in Notepad++ the XML file does not show up in SIP Inspector.

Thanks,
Jeffrey

Can you share a NOTIFY how you want it to look like and pcap file with fragments in it.

I was just able to paste the whole NOTIFY message in text area of SIP Inspector and when the message was sent out it was fragmented. See scenario attached.

BTW, I took your original pcap file, filtered SIP messages, right click on any SIP message and select Follow/UDP stream. From that window I selected the whole text of NOTIFY messages and pasted it into SIP Inspector message area. So, I had a one big NOTIFY message which when sent onto LAN is fragmented.  Not sure what is the problem you have?

I guess my problem exists between the keyboard and chair, then.  Thanks for your help.
