Great explanation! Thanks :)
From the error it looks like you need to flush the cache. Are you using minfication? If yes, you might want to disable that and enable later. Also looks like the Layer Slider editor gets called. Are you using Layer Slider here?
I checked your site and I can see that both Enfold theme and Optimizepress is activated with no issues when I tried to follow your instructions above. Can you tell us more how you disabled the theme from loading? as you have mentioned and also tell us how we can see the error back?
I have tried what you mentioned, and noticed that it was css that was checked (disabled), I tried to uncheck it and do your instructions here: -update-stops-optimizepress-from-working/#post-800405 and it does load properly on my end. Screenshots in private content.

In general, these hosted solutions are more expensive than OptimizePress and Thrive Architect, but if your business relies on marketing tools to drive traffic and sales, it may be a price worth paying.
Unbounce retails from $99 per month or $79 per month if paid yearly. It offers a modern landing page builder and pop-up creator, over 100 pre-made templates and integration support for dozens of applications and services.
My final recommendation is Instapage. Available for $199 per month or $149 per month if paid yearly, the service offers a landing page builder, advertising integration and a ton of experimental features such as heatmaps and split testing.
To learn more about what it can do, please check out the official OptimizePress website. Be sure to check out the demo that is available there to get a better understanding of what the product can do.
2. You should be able to create the different sections using the editor. You can also use a plugin like < a ref=" -to-create-and-manage-tables-in-wordpress-with-tablepress-plugin/">tablepress to further divide / compare the products you are trying to promote.
4. Yes, anyone (from any country) can use the OptimizePress to build a landing page or membership site. Also, the plugin / theme is translate ready, meaning you can translate the content to your language, using Loco Translate plugin.
Because they granted me access, I went ahead and used the service for a month and, knowing that I had a month to try it out, went ahead and had my Web team build a sales page with one of their templates.
After thousands of dollars paying a web designer to reconstruct my pages in OP2, I find today that my pages cannot be edited. Any product delivery page or membership page with a broken link is useless.
I have been working on implementing the optimizepress theme on my site for four weeks now. This is a site that has been up and running since 2007 in various incarnations. I am sorry to say that this theme is extremely buggy. You just resolve one issue, then another pops up.
Finally got the serious issues sorted. had to deactivate every single one of my plugins, and revert to default wordpress theme to do so. Now find that the pages that have been up for weeks, suddenly lose half the page content when making minute tweaks. The pages keep breaking.
No archive system, so cannot restore them. Just about to throw the lot away. Fed up.
Im sorry to hear about all the problems you had. About the Live Editor, and assuming that you arent using Safari or plugins that dont enqueue JS or an old version of WordPress, the only issue I was aware of was caused by using doble quotes in your page titles, and that was solved after version 2.0.8. As for the issue you mentioned about losing half the page content, it sounds pretty strange. Are you sure that content is really lost? Have you looked for it in your database, or activated a different theme (for instance Twenty Thirteen) to check if it shows up?
I do agree that it is pretty strange to lose half the contents of a page after successfully saving it multiple times. It happened 5 times. Finally I saved the page as a template, then recreated the page using the template. It seems to be working so far, but what a pain. I may be because the original was cloned from another page.
I also bought Bricks but find it too confusing to use. I wanted to use Bricks to build a theme like Twenty Eleven. Where can I get templates? Is there a template available anywhere that is the same as Twenty Eleven?
I am a beginner myself so take my advice with a grain of salt. Basically you can built any template you want with bricks. If you click on the Bricks option in wordpress, you can then navigate to the Templates.
There you can create a new template of any type like for example a template for displaying single posts or a header and so on. When you edit the newly created template with the bricks builder, you can insert a community template if you click on the templates icon on the top right corner. Maybe you find something there, that you can use and change to your liking.
Here is a video of me making the same layout setting the width on the containers. I use a header template rather than putting the header directly on the page, but the formatting would be no different.
The image sizes create a image size on disk and you can use the width setting to make it the size you want. I believe there is a way to show other custom images sizes. I have not tried it yet. I usually just pick the one that is larger than I want it to be on the front end and size it with width in some manner.
Make sure you are editing only in one tab too. If you are editing in two tabs and save in another one, it can wipe out changes you made in the first tab. It will look like your changes do not work on the front end.
Yes, sure, it still has some idiosyncrasies (like not updating properly sometimes), but no page builder is perfect, and these guys are constantly working hard to make it better. I hope you can find a way to make it work for you.
Thanks! Spot on - no buider is perfect, but I have tried them all and I was able to be up and running with basic stuff in 30-40 mins. Bricks - dear lord - I have never came across anything as confusing or frustrating. The whole point of a builder is to make life easy and speed things up but Brics takes 5-10 times longer to do the basics.
Take adding a hover state to a text link for example. This is as basic as it gets and should be a 1-2 click operation. The same process in Bricks just beggars belief. I genuienly dont know what the developers were thinking when the built Bricks.
I just installed the bbpress plugin and it seems to work great. I am working on stylizing it to match my site. How do I get it to use a specific page template for the forums? Can I make the forums pull into a specific page that I create and then set a page template?
So i did what you guys recommended, copied the no-sidebar template page from my theme folder, and placed it in the theme folder. No change. Also tried placing it in the child theme folder. still no change. Am I missing something?
In the screenshots (members area protected forum, sorry)
The first screen, everything is great until you click on the topic Welcome, then it picks a completely different template and it has almost driven me to tears for the last 5 hours
Thanks Maury for the reply. I did nothing literally. I installed the bbpress plugin from inside wp. I then created a page called forum in optimizepress, picked a template which is screenshot1. In the template I simply added this [bbp-forum-index]
I am wanting my bbpress tags and bbpress search input form to display on my forum main page just below the bread crumbs.
This is what I understand to do.
A. Copy my page.php template from by theme folder. (..//wp-content/themes/fishingclub)
B. Rename it bbpress.php and upload to the theme folder.
(I do this and the forum main page displays properly.)
Here is the page,php code:
C. Since I want to display bbpress tags and bbpress I need to put these shortcodes in the bbpress.php template: [bbp-topic-tags] and [bbp-search], BUT the page crashes no matter where I put the shortcode.
D. I assume I must put some kind of coding before and after the shortcode. No idea what I need to do.
