Damn Yankees Auditions – Vermillion Community Theatre

 

Whether you live in Vermillion, reside close by or you’re staying for the summer; please join us in becoming a part of a strong and fun community and a great way to liven your summer!  The Vermillion Community Theatre is holding auditions for this summer’s production of the Broadway musical “Damn Yankees”.  Auditions are Wednesday, April 26^th and Thursday, April 27^th at 6:00 pm and Sunday, April 30^th at 4:00 pm. Locations for auditions will be posted on the website at www.vermillioncommunitytheatre.org. There are parts for actors of all ages.  No material needs to be prepared.  Those auditioning will be asked to read, sing and dance.  Show dates for “Damn Yankees” will be June 23-26 at the Vermillion High School Theatre.

 

If you are not interested in being on stage, we have many fun production teams to belong to.  Simply arrive at the auditions and fill out a contact form and we will find a way to use your talent building, sewing, advertising, organization, etc.  All are welcome!

The muscial comedy Once Upon A Mattress will be performed by Vermillion High School students on Friday and Saturday May 12th and 13th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday May 14th at 2:30 p.m. in the high school performing arts center. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for students and senior citizens and free to those with Vermillion School District activity cards. Tickets can be purchased at the door or the high school office.
