an hour before game time (curtain). Our youngest actors will be
performing for your pre-show enjoyment: comedy, juggling, dancing and
singing - all to put you in the mood.
"Damn Yankees" tells the story of Joe Boyd, a passionate Washington
Senators fan willing to sell his soul to win the pennant. When his wish
is granted, it becomes a wild story of loyalty, love, baseball and most
of all "Heart".
The show is made very exciting by its wide variety characters such as
the sly and conniving devil, his seductive associate, a wacky band of
ballplayers, and an enormous group of young Senators fans. Richard
Alder and Jerry Ross add romping music to the show, giving it yet
another element of entertainment. The show features such favorite
tunes as "You Gotta Have Heart" and "Whatever Lola Wants".
It promises to be a great evening of enjoyment in a lively atmosphere,
so bring the whole family and come see "Damn Yankees".
