You know it, you love it. Guess what?
We’re doing it again.
STC presents a SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION of creativity.
We need writers, directors, and actors to help us put on our world-famous (or Vermillion-ly-known) 10-minute play festival. On Friday, April 7, at 6:00 PM, our participants will meet to discuss the rules and find who they will be partnered with. After the meeting, everyone will be dismissed and the playwrights begin their mad task of writing a 10-minute play, due the next morning by 9:00 AM. During the day on Saturday, April 8, the directors and actors will work to put the play together by 8 PM that evening when all of the work will be showcased. That’s right. It’s our own little 24-hour 10-minute play festival! A SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION!
Writing and directing spaces are still available. Acting spaces are very limited and are going fast. A sign-up sheet is posted on the STC call board. Sign-up fast because space is limited. Remember, if you do sign-up, you are required to attend the meeting on Friday, April 7, at 6 PM, or contact Rusty Ruth or Andy Heller (ahe...@usd.edu) to inform them of any conflict while keeping your name in the proverbial hat.
These have been a very successful venture in the past. If you choose not to participate, we do hope to see you in attendance in the audience for the performance, Saturday, April 8, at 8 PM.
So join us for…
SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION 4!!!!
Thanks,
Andy Heller
