According to an announcement shared by the highly anticipated film and Sony Pictures on Thursday, \"1923\" actor Brandon Sklenar will play Atlas Corrigan, the high school love interest of the story's main character, Lily Bloom, who will be played by Blake Lively.

The film will be based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, which has taken \"BookTok\" by storm. Hoover shared the news of Sklenar's casting on Instagram and said that she \"cannot wait for this.\"

News of the \"It Ends With Us\" film first dropped in January when Hoover shared on TikTok that actor Justin Baldoni would direct the film and star as Ryle Kincaid, the man Lily falls for. Lively is also an executive producer on the project.

Im actually surprised that this subreddit only had 3 total posts on Cloud Atlas, and I can scarcely find a critical analysis on youtube of the film. Cloud Atlas is one of my favorite films of all time -- which to the Wachowski's benefit or detriment, only gets better with each viewing (just finished my 6th viewing last week and plan to read the book soon). There are so many subtle points made in the film that compound on the larger theme, and as you figure these things out, you realize how intricate of a work of art they made.

I am surprised that Cloud Atlas isnt endlessly analyzed. And Im always surprised when people who tend to go for thoughtful films say they dont like Cloud Atlas. But this is one of the numerous examples within that film that show why this is one of my favorite films of all time.

The reason for this is quite simple, but also unique to Atlas. When one film finishes production, the sets are usually left behind and a new one is built close by for the next shoot. The result is a studio that grows bigger each year. Typically, Hollywood studios tend to reuse sound stages over and over again, with film crews tasked with dismantling their sets once they are finished.

While the Moroccan desert has featured in a number of films in recent years, nearby locations have been used for major productions since the early 1960s. When David Lean shot Lawrence of Arabia (1962) in the desert, it is said that he discovered several ruins along an ancient caravan route while scouting locations.

Considered to be the Hollywood of Morocco, many of the productions that film here are epic or Biblical in nature, and therefore the surrounding area would seem a natural fit. But others come to benefit from a reduction in costs and rely on local technicians who have been trained up over the years.

The studios estimate that filming here brings a saving of around fifty percent compared to working in the West because the cost of labor and living is so much less in Morocco, and incentives include an exemption from VAT on all costs. The film commission can secure film permits and help with identifying some of the beautiful locations on offer locally. A film commissioner, Abderrazak Zitouni, is responsible for all shoots here.

Meanwhile, the sprawling studio looks as epic as the crumbling kasbah cities that can be found dotted about the area. Film is big business here, and seventy five percent of productions made in Morocco are filmed in Ouarzarzate. Meanwhile, nineteen percent of hotel rooms where taken up there for film shoots in the first quarter of 2014.

The town even has a film museum. When I arrived, a guard sat watch in the midst of a crumbling collection of red-brown stone buildings where carpet-sellers plied their wares to the smattering of tourists.

Inside the museum there were vestiges of more shoots, sequences from films shot here like Lawrence of Arabia and Kundun and old set props from both films. Later that afternoon, when the sun set, it cast such a magical glow upon this desert outcrop that one could imagine Lawrence of Arabia riding towards on his horse.

Founded in 1983 by Moroccan entrepreneur Mohamed Belghmi for the filming of the 1985 action-adventure film "The Jewel of the Nile," Atlas has since become a premier destination to film big budget blockbuster films thanks to the area's dramatic landscapes, the relative cheap cost of production, and its promixity to the striking medieval ksar of Aït Benhaddou, also a popular filming location.

Frieze London announced its 2015 film commissions today. Part of an initiative known as Frieze Film, which is part of Frieze Projects and curated by Nicola Lees, it includes a new work by Charles Atlas. All four films will air in England on Channel 4.

This film maker can only be used in conjunction with heated platens and a hydraulic press. The heated platens are mounted in the press and the film maker is positioned between the heated platens. After pressing, the complete film maker is briefly placed in a cooling mould (water cooling). The finished film can then be removed and placed in a magnetic film holder or Specacards for analysis in an IR spectrometer. The maximum pressure for this film maker is 4 t, satisfactory results can however be achieved at pressures from around 1 t.

Cloud Atlas, with the combination of huge buzz and Ben Whishaw, was a significant discovery for me; the novel speaks to me on a level that most books cannot, it reached into my own soul and displayed my beliefs on the page. I was not in Toronto yesterday and did not see the film (which is unfortunate since October 26th is too far away) but the generous five minute trailer is enough to make me believe the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run, Perfume) have really translated the core material into a complex, compelling cinematic narrative. In a surprising move, the Wachowskis even talked about the process of getting the film made.

One of the two rainbow-style films from Yodica, Atlas delivers a patchwork of gorgeous tints and colours across the full roll. Less predictable than some of the others, but with a balance that can work with all subjects.

Yodica is a brand new film company, started by a couple with a fantastic passion for film photography, art, and creativity. Inspired by astronomy, they have 7 films available already with big plans for the future!

When you buy your camera film from us we can ship it across the UK, Europe, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Canada (more countries planned soon!) So buy your Yodica Atlas Film 35mm Colour ISO 400 today and dive back into the fun of 35mm film photography!

I used this particular film to shoot a Roller Derby game. Roller Derby tends to need quite high speed ISOs (3200 plus to get the shutter speed high enough to capture the action). I knew this when shooting with this film, it acts as I would expect another 400 speed film to act. The only downside to shooting with this film however, is when processing it in photoshop or Lightroom it is quite hard to get the colours right. The RGB channels are a bit more sensitive than normal. I don't know if a lab would be able to deal with this better.

This is the first of the Yodica films I've tried, and the first 400 ISO colour effect film I've seen around. This meant that I tried this one in low light (backstage at a drag show in case you're wondering what on earth this photo is) and got v pleasing results; the colours come up really strong against plain black backgrounds. Overall some lovely retro light leaks and stunning rainbow colours, so I'll definitely be buying a few more rolls of this!

Cloud Atlas was never destined to be popular. When David Mitchell published a novel featuring six different stories set in six different time periods, nested one inside the other like Russian dolls, Hollywood said an adaptation was impossible. When the Wachowski Siblings bought the rights to the book, studios were still doubtful. Even after the film had been financed, investors backed out left and right. Nobody but the filmmakers seemed to believe that audiences could handle a movie this big .

As it turns out, the naysayers were right. Cloud Atlas flopped at the domestic box office, earning a paltry $9.6M its opening weekend against a $100M+ production budget. The film polarized critics; it barely scraped the 60% mark on Rotten Tomatoes; and it earned the wrath of many a movie-goer who found the three-hour film too long and confusing. Exploring the continuity of transmigrating souls across the centuries is not typical Hollywood fare, especially not for a Tom Hanks film. If the Wachowskis had been gunning for a new Matrix, what they seemed to get was another Speed Racer.

As dizzying as all this might sound, the storytelling is seamless . Great writing and masterful editing play a major role: the film might cut from a bursting fire hydrant to a surging sea, or from a prisoner in the future to a prisoner in the past; every cut seems imbued with meaning. ( The movie was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing.) The Wachowskis (and co-director Tom Twyker) also did an amazing job adapting the book into a screenplay, especially considering that the original novel has an entirely different structure than the film.

Atlas Film Studios is the second largest film studio in the world, behind Hollywood. Several films were made here or in the surrounding area, including Asterix, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Last Temptation of Christ, The Man Who Would Be King, Kundun, The Mummy Returns and Game of Thrones (Season 3).
