On my Android phone Pandora app I created a playlist with approximately 40 songs in it and several don't really match so I want to delete them. I've tried over and over and over and they all just keep coming back.
Yeah, this is how it should work, but after I hit save, the playlist goes back to the way it was before I edited it. Any song(s) I deleted are back, and the songs go back to the pre-editted order too. Is there a work-around for that??
I am about to lose my lid!!! I have reached out now maybe a dozen times to try to fix an issue where I'm trying to delete a song that's playing off of a playlist, somebody reach out to me holy s*** you people are completely worthless, how do you get to the point your company believes it's anything when you can't handle the simple things that give your company any bit of worth, for the love of God please reach out to me
Thanks for your reporting your experience. I understand how this can be frustrating when you've attempted to remove a song. In the meantime, I moved your post over to this existing thread: Android: Songs Reappear After Being Deleted from a Playlist
If I delete a song from a Playlist it throws off the names of all the songs left on the Playlist. Then the deleted song still plays but the name is wrong. Very frustrating when trying to make good Playlists.
Sorry for any trouble this has caused during your listening sessions. I completely understand how frustrating that can be. I moved your post over to this existing thread: Android: Songs Reappear After Being Deleted from a Playlist
Same for me too. While I'm playing one station and select another station to play. Pandora will play both stations at the same time. I have to shut my phone down completely and do a restart in order to get the plane to stop. I have an Android 22S+
Pandora has been doing the same thing on my Galaxy S22 lately. However, only when I am connected to my car Bluetooth. It also is greying out my skip, pause, and thumbs features, despite having premium.
I get into my Chevy Trax and my Galaxy s22 Ultra connects to the bluetooth automatically. I click to shuffle my Pandora stations and it starts as normal. I am initially able to skips songs, like normal. However, after an undetermined amount of skips or time, the whole bottom option (replay, pause, thumbs up/down, and skip) are greyed out and I cannot click them. Then if I click to play another station OR song specifically (from a playlist or searching) it starts to play the 2nd song along with the 1st that I was unable to skip. The pause option is usually then back, however if i click pause or skip, it only pauses the 2nd song. The only way to get it to stop is to close the Pandora app entirely and start over. But then they same thing happens so I have to just not skip or select any songs.
I forgot to add that also when I shut the car off and get out, usually the music just stops. Now it stops and within 20 seconds it starts to play again from my phone. However it does not show anything on my phone as playing. So clicking pause on the app or widget does not stop it. I have to reopen and close pandora to get it to shut off.
Thank you so much for providing those details, @jesswalker27. Unfortunately, it sounds like you're running into a couple of known issues we're experiencing right now on Android devices. I've shared your device details and information about your experience with our tech team. If notice anything else, please don't hesitate to let us know. We appreciate your patience during this process.
Why does my pandora play 2 songs at same time. You have to choose it out completely to get it to stop. Or your listening to music while texting when I try to use talk to text music won't spot playing. Or sometimes won't let me hit next song button it won't do anything.. I have all these different issue after I renewed my subscription. And I was away for like 5 months couldn't use pandora. They should refund me all those payments vuz I couldn't use there service...
Since you've having multiple issues, I created an email case for you with one of our specialists. Someone will reach out to you soon so please keep an eye out for their email. Thank you for your patience during this process.
@BornandraisedAZ I have found this useful tip that has been a help in the past...Perhaps it could be for you as well... I realize not all solutions are the same for everyone... But I figured why not share it if it helped me...
It is beyond frustrating. I pay a good price for Premium, and you would think they would provide this simple feature. I suspect that it is because they don't want to make it easy, so you are forced to listen to songs you would rather not.
I agree totally. Why not? One more thing..... If I find an artist I like, why can't I add a similar song / artist? I came from another service because I listen to Pandora on my TV's. And one more, Why isn't there a FADE between songs to eliminate dead space. I give up!
Tap the Add Similar Songs button located at the bottom of your playlist if you need some assistance with building your playlist. Pandora will add songs that match the musical qualities of the tracks already in your playlist. You can re-order songs we've added or delete any unwanted songs.

In the meantime, we do have an existing feature request for this option that @AdamPandora mentioned above. I'm sure other listeners would also be interested in seeing this implemented. Be sure to give any ideas an upvote by clicking on the icon next to the title of the feature request.
The only way I have been able to find is to drag and drop. I'm sure this is only going to work on certain devices, but it is better than nothing. I am able to click on a song, drag it up or down, and release. Hey, I would love for a filter menu to give me better options, but for now, it at least keeps me from scrolling through 80 plus songs to see if I have already saved it. Happy Tuesday All!
@malgor I moved your post to the My Collection space as there is already a playlist for this included with your Pandora Premium subscription - it's called My Thumbs Up Playlist.
My Thumbs Up is a playlist that collects your Thumbed Up tracks from each of your stations. Every time you thumb up a song on your stations, it will be automatically added to this playlist. My Thumbs Up playlists will only play the songs you have Thumbed Up.
@malgor While there isn't a link I can provide with instructions, I can say that the stations you continue to thumb up tracks on should generate those Thumbs Up playlists as they gain enough thumb feedback.
Ok, I must be missing something. I have stations with 100s of "thumbs up" songs on them, yet I only see one playlist that combines every thumbs up from every station into a massive playlist. I do not see any options under "playlists" in my collection to select a playlist with only "thumbs up" tracks from a particular station.
@bbsatx While we aren't able to give out a specific number as this is something that is constantly getting tested, after you have thumbed up enough songs on any given station you've created, we'll automatically generate a "Thumbs Up" playlist for that station. In other words, we'll collect your thumbs up from that station into a unique playlist, so you can access all of your favorite tracks whenever you want.
Sometimes I like the live version of a song better than the studio recording, or vice versa. Sometimes I love a song when it's done by one artist but I really don't like another artists version of the same exact song.
I don't want to thumbs down the song because I enjoy it when it's the version that I actually like and I don't want pandora to think that I don't like that song, when really, I just don't like that version...
I have been a pro "paid" user for a long time and I wanted to share my opinion. I hate (strong word) re-edited versions of songs. I would rather not hear the song at all if it is not the original. Many feel this way. Why can you not offer a feature to exclude re-edited versions and maybe live versions?
Just re-released but only if re-recorded by only a portion of original members. In other words, songs that were re-done for streaming and not the original recordings. I don't care about censoring one way or the other. Thanks for replying.
I'd recommend visiting our Feature Request board with this suggestion. You can either post a new message for this idea or expand on the current idea for live version here: Exclude Live Performance Versions of Songs
Is there an option to disable cover songs? For example, I like Garth Brooks and would like to hear his songs, but not his songs being played/covered by "Books Jefferson"... I feel like if I click the thumbs down for Brooks Jefferson, it will also think I dont like Garth Brooks songs, since they are very similar...
This remaster album is AWFUL. Someone added a ton of reverb to it for reasons I cannot fathom. It is horrible to listen to and literally hurts my brain. I don't want to thumbs down it because a) I'd have to thumbs down every single track played from this album individually and b) I like these songs, just not this AWFUL remastered version. I'm pretty sure if I thumbs down them, it will take all of these songs off of my station, not just the ones from this album, since they are all the same songs, just with different audio mixing.
