On January 6, 2017, I bid farewell to the Air Force. Those friends and mentors who retired before me always said how challenging it was for them to sum their careers up into a 15 minute speech. They were certainly correct. So, I'm sharing my speech to assist those nearing their own career sunset and also for the reading pleasure of my professional contacts here on LinkedIn. I hope you enjoy it.
While this is the end of my military career, it is just the beginning of the next chapter of my life. This summer my family and I plan to move to Atlanta, Georgia. Rebecca will continue to practice her skills as a nurse, and I hope to land a job as a corporate learning and development manager. 9 years ago Rebecca and I had no idea of the journey we were about to undertake, only that we wanted to do it together. There is No One I would rather have had by my side and I am so looking forward to having you by my side for the rest.
