You could also use Poison Detonation aka Poison Explosion on enemies to deal damage based on Enemy MAX HP too! Champions who are able to perform this ability are Karam, Zavia and Elenaril. You will need to pair them with an AoE Poison debuffer such as Taurus, Bad-el-Kazar or Tomb Lord. To increase the amount of Poison damage, you will need a supporter who can Increase Debuff Duration of the Poison such as Flesh-Tearer. Poison Explosion does not need AoE Decrease Defense nor Weaken debuff champions as the damage dealt it pure damage (ignores 100% Enemy Defense!)

This support strategy relies on resetting or reducing the skill cooldown of allies to enable them to execute their nuke attacks promptly. Pair your AoE nukers or AoE Crowd Controllers or AoE HP Burn with Renegade or Prince Kymar unleash their full potential!

Use AoE Shield champion who can apply massive Shield on your allies such as Miscreated Monster, Valkyrie, Sir Nicholas and Helior to protect your squishy champions against the Spiderling Poison debuff and Spider boss AoE Nuke!

To prevent the spiderlings from taking their turn to bite and poison your allies, use AoE Stun and AoE Freeze champions such as Miscreated Monster, Crypt-King Graal, Scyl of the Drakes, Achak the Wendarin. This crowd control approach can be used in combination with offense strategy such as AoE HP Burn and AoE Nuke Damage to keep your team alive during the battle.

Use a weak affinity champion who has an AoE attack on their default skill. Spiderlings will auto-attack weaker affinity champions since they are easy target to kill as they will deal +30% more damage. Equip them with Lifesteal Set and have Warmaster (Tier 6 Offense Mastery) and Retribution (Tier 5 Defense Mastery), so they can retaliate enemies whenever they lose 25% of their health and replenish their health quickly with Wawrmaster damage as it deals damage based on Enemy MAX HP! The common champions used for this strategy are Sinesha, Zephyr Sniper and Basilisk.

Yakarl the scourge should be a 5* ranked champion for spider. 100 % steal turn meter on a 3 turn cool down and places decrease speed debuff and aoe freeze that is irresistible if enemy has more than 75 % turn meter. Spider 20 and above he is one of if not the best for turn meter and crowd control

Lol? Ninja does +5M on my Spider runs on Spider 20 and i bet that there are many more. It all depends on the Team Setup. On 20 i use Rae, Scyl, Ninja and Miscreated Monster as base team, the 4th player i use Coldheart (although its not item optimized), Hurndig, Royal Guard etc.. im still messing with team compositions .

Coldheart doing 2.5m damage in Spider den stage 20, no other champ in entire game can make that, Coldheart is a goddess in many parts of the game, she has to be number 1 in the front of all legendaries

Managed to clear Spider 19 and 20 on auto using the Bheirudan strategy. I used Infernal Baroness as the tank (despite being advised of her negative affinity) and gear her with only 1 set of 3star lifesteal gear (no level up) and a Resistance banner.

After 123 days log in, as f2p I was able to kill spider 10 times on auto and finish mission. My set up was Lyssandra, Coldhart, Fayne, Psylar and Alure (or Apothecary). Thank you for your awesome guides guys.

@revs upstairs: Do you have a video recording of yourself working on Spider 15 on auto? From there, I can analyze and identify the gaps that you will need to work on. Knowing what champions you have in your vault will be helpful for me to come up with a good team to handle the remaining Spider stages.

Generally, the first 14 stages of Spider you can beat it with brute force high AoE damage. However, starting from Spider 15 to 20 onwards, you will need to use a different strategy which is to survive, crowd control the Spider boss and avoid getting too much Poison debuff on the tanker (Spider bait).

Since Spider 15 is Force Affinity (Level 185 Spider), you will need to use 1 Tank Bait. I believe the Spiderlings will target Athel and Scyl of the Drakes since both are the weakest Affinity (Magic Affinity) for this stage.

In Summary:
1. Armiger and Visix both will help stop the boss in their tracks.
2. 1 Tanker to crowd control the Spiderling
3. 1 Healer to heal the tanker and Speed Buffer to boost the team speed.
4. 1 Boss Attacker (e.g HP Burn or Damage by MAX HP) or Debuffer (e.g. Nazana to apply AoE Decrease Attack to further reduce the damage or Stun)

thank you for making these lists. (i only started playing a couple months ago and discovered these lists a couple weeks ago, wish it was sooner, would have made different choices.) I got the main list on google docs, can you make these dungeon lists available on google as well?

Dont use AoE to spiderlings. Resist need 247. Enough HP and Defense. Thats the first approach. But can use many others. Such as sync to Demytha block damage to Agreth speed, when she turn and spit his poisons.

Your Bad-El that is currently highlighted has a total of 116 speed. I am not sure what the gear is for the other champions but if they are similar then I think you might need to revisit them. All of your champions should at least have boots with speed as their primary stat, but ideally they need to be in the range of 170+ to be competitive against content like this.

That said, assuming your gear is good, you have a number of champions that should be able to deal with this boss. There are 2 strategies for beating Nether spider. The first is to use heavy nukers to keep the spiderlings down, while the second is to simply ignore the spiderlings entirely. The latter is the safer one that works best for hard DT and what I would recommend for you now.

Now, when I say ignore the spiderlings completely, I mean literally ignore them. Do not attack them with anything, whether it be AOE or single attacks. If you plan on running an auto team, then turn off all AOE attacks from the champions. Yes, the spiderlings will attack every now and then but it doesn't matter.

From there, pick champions that are magic affinity (or spirit, but avoid force) and have really good sustain skills, such as healing, resurrection, debuff cleanses, etc. A sample team I would run would be:

One of the biggest gaps in champions that I can see in your roster is actually a debuff cleanser. If you had a doompriest then I'd take her to 50 and bring her in. The healing and debuff removal every turn will also dramatically increase survivability. Reliquary Tender is another great example of a cleanser that can make this fight significantly easier.

Avoid champions that have random attacks, such as Apo and Ninja. These can hit the spiderlings and risk a counterattack, which then heals the boss. The goal is to just take a team slowly wittle the boss down with single attacks, while healing and sustaining all of the inbound damage. All of the above mentioned champions should have high HP and defense anyway.

On another note: looking at just this page in your roster, I count 19 60s and 41 50s. Considering there's another 146 champions that aren't in your vault, I assume there's more 50s than that. You really need to be focusing on 60'ing champs so they can be fully impactful in later game content - like Doom Tower.

I'm not sure if the other posters are suggesting you use BEK for this but - *don't*. You cannot use BEK on Nether Spider unless you are *sure* you can clear the spiderlings, because his A1 will constantly trigger the heals.

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can! Spins a web, any size. Gets amazing dials, all the time. Look-out, here comes the newest iteration of Peter Parker who always seems to be better than the last version Spider-Maaaaaaan!

New mechanics are tricky with Heroclix. Some of them are great and stick around for a long time while others tend to leave a sour taste in our mouths and vanish in just one set. Split dials that allowed you to shift between two different versions without physically swapping dials was made popular way back in Superior Foes of Spider-Man with Power Man and Iron Fist, and this mechanic keeps popping up. Ms. Marvel was a great addition from The Mighty Thor, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur got in on the fun in Avengers Infinity, and the recent Stealth Sentinel reintroduces the terrifying Alpha Class Sentinel.

Right off the bat, Spidey is rocking some amazing mobility with improved movement over everything except indoor blocking terrain and basically ignoring characters on the map. A great Spider-Man never needs to break away!

What are your thoughts on this team build? Do you like the synergy more than just building around a singular character and maxing their capabilities? How are you playing this Spider-Man? Let me know in the comments section below!

Baseball is beautiful. As a coach and fan, I appreciate the strategy, statistics, and history of the game. But the beauty goes far deeper for those who play it because of the limitless life lessons that it teaches.

This is a reflection of life, which is certainly not fair. Some people will have a built-in advantage. Some will get positions of authority without earning them. Others will work hard and not get a payoff. For some, everything seemingly goes wrong regardless of the work that gets put in.

The truth is that all teams have more similarities than we like to admit. Neither team is perfect. Both teams have their warts and their flaws. Both teams are working towards the same goal. Do you appreciate that?

Your preparation and goal setting as a baseball player is good practice for your adult life. Do you prepare for a test? A presentation? A business proposal? Or do you wing it and trust your natural instincts and ability?

But do you use this same intensity on the practice field? How about going above and beyond and putting in work off of the practice field that no one else sees? Those who work when no one is watching are those who are most likely to get the best results.
