Although this program limits the number of downloads you can perform per day, you can still check for outdated drivers as often as you want. You're just limited when it comes to downloading them. I talk more in the review about why this isn't as bad of a limit as it might sound.
A driver updater software scans your hardware for old, broken, or missing drivers and updates them. Updating your drivers regularly helps to minimize and stop potential problems from getting worse on your PC. Driver updaters will ensure your PC operates well and prevent serious driver-related issues from damaging your device.
The level of user intervention is very low, as this solution is practically fire-and-forget. Once installed, the application scans the drivers installed and matches these against a driver versioning database, and then downloads and installs the latest ones.
The free version of Driver Boost will download and install drivers happily, but you avoid adverts and can pay for some additional features with Driver Boost Pro. And, that license covers you for a year on three computers!

Many device types, however, don't allow a single physical device to enumerate more than one device node. The StorFwUpdate component does not perform any validation (signature verification or decryption) of the firmware binary payload. If this level of feature is required then hardware partners can write their own storage firmware update driver.
Install the extension INF with the Microsoft PnP utility. For example, in an administrator command prompt, type pnputil /add-driver .\OEMDiskExtnPackage.inf /install. As the new software node is created as a child of a boot critical device, a reboot is required to take effect.
There's a program called Driver Booster for Windows that I use sometimes to update drivers that I cannot find easily. Since I switched over to using Ubuntu for my laptop, I just use sudo apt upgrade for updating packages on my machine. But I'm not sure whether that will also update my drivers to the newest version. The exceptions, such as some WiFi NIC drivers, and GPU drivers, may or may not be upgraded with an apt upgrade depending on a couple factors (such as whether or not the package is "held back"). You can control the installed version of these drivers through Software & Updates --> Additional Drivers.
