Hi all -

I've realised for some time that the SIOC project website needs a major
overhaul.

We have a lot of out-of-date information, no links to new applications,
duplicate places where you would expect to find X or Y.

So as well as an upgrade to new version of Drupal in parallel
(Stephane), I propose to see about reorganising the content.

I would prefer to try and reuse the specification and application
documents where possible, so maybe we can figure out how to extract the
body of rdfs.org/sioc/spec and rdfs.org/sioc/applications for
sioc-project.org (or just link directly, and provide some obvious return
link to get back to the site?).

Ideas appreciated. I also think we should remove the forums section,
and just point directly to the mailing list.

Also, a list of updated wiki pages on the SIOC site should be visible
somewhere in a block.

(Drupal people: Since I am unsure if the meta theme we use at present is
compatible with Drupal 5 / 6, some theme recommendations would be
appreciated.)

Thanks!

John.

Hi,

sioc-project.org is now running on Drupal 5. Clear your browser cache!
I've setup the light theme for now, but feel free to suggest other ones you like. You can try out a few themes if you log in and edit your account. A list of Drupal themes is also available at http://drupal.org/project/Themes

regards,
Stéphane.
