Office hours are a way for you to meet with Astronomer data engineers and ask about Astro and Airflow features and best practices . Office hours are available weekly on a first-come, first-served basis. An office hour session is typically 30 minutes long.
Office hours are not a replacement for support. Submit a support request if you have any urgent issue, bug, or something that needs fixing. Astronomer data engineers will not be able to answer support requests during office hour sessions.
If you have questions about your Astronomer account or billing, email suc...@astronomer.io instead of attending office hours. If you need more extensive assistance, guidance, or regular long-term engagement, reach out to the Professional Services team.
Before you book an office hours appointment, please browse the documentation, Astronomer Academy, Airflow Guides, or discussion on the Astronomer Forum to see if there are existing guides or resources that answer your question.
To book office hours, click Book office hours in the documentation sidebar navigation. Then, schedule a 30-minute virtual meeting on the Calendly form. In the form, provide details about any issues and questions that you want to discuss during the meeting.

In an effort to better serve our undergraduates taking astronomy courses and those who are in the Astronomy major and minor, we are scheduling office hours to be help sessions offered 4 times per week. At each session, there will be two graduate students who are currently TAs and other undergraduate students who may be in your class or have taken it. If your specific TA is not there, that is ok, ask others!! These help sessions are meant for you to receive help for any of your astronomy courses and some coaching on some of your physics courses. At these help sessions, we would like you to work collaboratively and keep the environment supportive. All students will be required to abide by the Code of Conduct as approved by the Department of Astronomy.
Starting on August 22, and each day that OSU classes are in session, the following locations and times are available. Help Sessions will continue while classes are in session ending December 6, 2023. This page will be updated with new information if anything changes or additional days and times are added. Snacks are usually around.
If you have any questions or cannot find the group please email astr...@osu.edu and we can try to help you out. The locations may change based on the number of students who are coming and we need larger rooms. If you have experienced an incident that you want to tell someone about, you may email astr...@osu.edu or check out the resources page here.
When offering feedback to a Virgo, walk them through your thought process and give them the opportunity to apply their analytical prowess to the situation at hand. Problem-solving together with a Virgo is likely to resonate better than if you come to them with a fully-formed conclusion. This sign values being of service and may take criticism to heart more than others.
Scorpio is an emotionally intelligent and highly perceptive water sign, with little patience for the superficial. It is the sign best equipped to deal with the tough stuff, understanding that new beginnings are born from endings and that challenges lead to growth. If a project runs into a dead end, a Scorpio may have insight as to how it can be revived or revamped into something with greater potential. Scorpios can also be adept investigators, having a dogged focus when tasked with unearthing hidden facts and figures. Their exhaustive research style and reflective, analytical nature combine to help them uncover and contribute valuable, informed perspectives.
Sagittarians are intellectual explorers, always on the lookout for new sources of knowledge and wisdom that they can synthesize into a more comprehensive understanding of the world. They are natural storytellers, comedians, and scholars, and are drawn toward anything that feels fresh and exciting. A Sagittarius might surprise you with a totally inspired vision to help revitalize your brand or your big-picture marketing strategy. They can also be a great ambassador or promoter, as they often exude an authentic, contagious excitement for life and everything in it. This is a sign that can casually crush it in board presentations or investor pitches.
Aquarians thrive within a stable routine, especially if they also have a sense of control and agency over their day-to-day workflow. This sign is known for being fiercely independent, but they work best with lots of people around them, in an environment with plenty of opportunity to socialize. They need intellectual stimulation in order to stay motivated and productive.
Aquarians are known as innovators: tech-savvy, future-minded, and keen on weighing the social impact of their work. They find ways to give back through linking and building with like-minded humanitarians.
Dravidian culture never went for astrology by looking at the stars, they made predictions by looking at people. Here, we have what is called Nadi Joshyam. But the Aryan culture came with astrology. Astrology is an interpretation of astronomy. If you try to interpret something, invariably you miss a lot of points. So it is a mis-interpretation because you missed a lot of things.
The company also suggests that Astro might be a good solution for offering remote care. Your loved one can ask Astro to set and deliver reminders, or you can use Drop In to stay connected. Plus, Astro works with Alexa Together, which allows for remote care for aging loved ones, or for offering care for people who have mobility challenges or other disabilities.

The Applied Spectrum Technology Research Office (ASTRO) executes projects under the Test and Evaluation / Science and Technology (T&E/S&T) program, managed by the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). These projects aim to change the face of T&E capabilities across the Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB). The T&E/S&T program matures technologies from proofs of concept (Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3) up to prototype demonstrations in a relevant environment (TRL 6). As a result, capability modernization projects within the MRTFB are able to incorporate these new technologies with reduced technical and programmatic risk. The T&E/S&T program is divided into a number of Test Technology Areas (TTA) each with a specific focus. The ASTRO is responsible for the Spectrum Efficient Technologies (SET) TTA, which focuses on technologies aimed to improve the use of spectrum. The primary domains include wireless technologies, telemetry networking technologies, and spectrum management.
The ASTRO investigates, matures, and tests technologies targeted at optimizing the use of spectrum MRTFB through coordination with the Range Commanders Council (RCC) and collaboration with test ranges. The projects executed by the ASTRO increase spectrum efficiency with respect to: bits per second per hertz (bits/s/Hz), spectrum reuse and spectrum sharing. The research, maturation, and testing of SET for T&E use, safeguards the future of open-air testing and supports the MRTFB.
This lesson builds upon the work started by Isabelle Starr, a student from the Lake Washington School District, Jason Huff, an educator from Seattle Public Schools, and Brittany Strachota, an educator from the Pacific Science Center. During the 2018 Microsoft OneWeek Hackathon they partnered with a team of Microsoft employees to develop a prototype of the sensor and the Excel workbook to measure foot pressure. Their work provided the foundation for the Astro Socks project which was further developed by the Hacking STEM and NASA Stem on Station teams.
