Candy Crush Soda Saga is described by the developer as a variant of Candy Crush Saga and not a sequel. Just like the original game it is a match-three title. The initial version of the game was launched with 140 levels with more added afterwards. It adds soda bottles that fill the board with soda if you match three pieces of candy. When the soda comes up the candy will float, forming new combinations. For example: four pieces of candy in a square shape produce a gummy fish and seven pieces produce colorant candy. There are new types such as ice-cream (breaks ice and creates gummy bears), and honey (frees gummy bears). Just like the original game it is free-to-play with in-app purchases to buy helpful items and to remove the time limits.
Windows 10 upgrade does appear include candy crush. I have a work machine that was game free and after upgrade found ccs installed. I cannot say 100% sure but it was definitely not in the start menu until after the upgrade. Uninstalling deletes it but you still need to go to regedit and click find and input candy and you will find a number of instances and keys. Delete them, don't worry it will not cause any problems as long as they say candy crush.
