IceWarpMail Server is a business Email and Collaboration server developed by IceWarp Ltd. It features email with custom domain, shared calendars, documents editing, messaging and advanced tool for team collaboration and can be run in Cloud or on a local server using either Windows or Linux,[1][2] or together with another solution in Hybrid deployment. In 2006 was known as Merak Mail Server.

We have had this setup for years until about 2 weeks ago. I was out of the country and my guys on ground said the server ran out of space, so they deleted some logs and migrated it to a separate hard disk.

I have checked everything known to man to no avail, the only thing I notice is telnet to port 25 on the server is inconsistent. Most times it gives an operation timeout error then once in a while it connects.

IceWarp's solutions meet the needs of businesses of all sizes -- from SMBs to enterprises. Customers include Cisco,Chipotle, Toyota, Burger King and Marriott.

Description:

IceWarp. Inc.'s messaging server is built for today's mobile workforce; delivering email, instant messaging, VoIP, text messaging, spam and virus protection, and a robust collaboration suite on a single platform. The Information section shows license registration details to the left: Name, Company, Email and Street Address. To the right it shows the Reference ID (unique hardware fingerprint), the Order ID (identification of your license in the order database), the Previous Order ID (means that this license is an update/extension of an older license and can only be activated on top of it), and the Status of the license.

The computer is blocked from accessing the Internet or the licenseprocessor.icewarp.com server is temporarily unavailable. Enable port 80 HTTP access on your firewall for config.exe or try again later.

The number of license activations has been exceeded, due to registering the same license on multiple computers (there are 3 attempts to register a license during its lifespan for the purpose of server migration only, provided they do not run in parallel for more than 1 month). Use Request Support to contact Sales.

If someone send a eMail from outside or inside to a distribution list on the Exchange server, the eMail is received by all members of that distribution group in Exchange AND in Icewarp. Which is fine and as expected.

I'm here to confirm your current trouble: Did the emails which were sent to the distribution group that includes one mail-contact member([email protected]) not show the SMTP sender email address on icewarp server?

If so, could you get the SMTP email address if you send emails from another domain email address to this distribution group? Could you see the SMTP send email address by view the From entry in the message header?

To make all incoming emails of Exchange Server copied to icewarp server, you could also create a transport rule(If the recipient is located inside the organization, Cc/Bcc the message to a specific email address from icewarp server).

This is true no matter where the sender ist. But when sending a eMail to a Exchange-Distribution group (like those Fail2Ban Messages) it shows up.My Exchange Account ([email protected]) is configured to forward eMail to a Exchange Mail-contact which points to [email protected]

HINT: i think the problem is because BOTH eMail-servers are configured to the SAME eMail-domaine mydom.com but have different hostnames, IPs and DNS but the same domain part (exchange.mydom.com and icewarp.mydom.com both for eMail mydom.com)I#, sure that's the base reason for that trouble as internal Spam & Abuse prevention rules try to block it.

Click the "+ Add account" button to open the New Account window. The account wizard window will appear. Now simply enter your IceWarp email address and confirm. Automatic setup will then use the AutoDiscover feature to detect your server settings. Enter your password and click Continue.

This is a programmatic endpoint, an API for a computer to talk to. You should probably be using a specialized client to utilize the service, and not your web browser. See Documentation - Let's Encrypt for help.

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

Hello Mike ,

the let's encrypt certificate are generated from icewarp server , there is no command , it is a graphical console integrated with icewarp solution for mail

for example we tried to install for : webmail.woodboard.dz and it is stucked there (csr) unfortunetly there is no output in real time ,

But, you have gotten certs for your woodboard domain from Let's Encrypt before. Your most recent was issued on Jun21. But, when connecting to woodboard I see a cert from Sectigo which is invalid for woodboard because it has the wrong domain name in the cert. Although, I only checked ports 443 and 465.

Even though the issue is about getting a Let's Encrypt certificate, I think we don't really have enough information here yet to see what the problem could be or how to solve it. I would suggest starting with IceWarp support, which I guess is located at

Even if they can just help you get more detailed logs about what IceWarp was trying to do and exactly what failed, we would have more to work with in trying to understand the problem. (Or if the error was just based on a temporary outage or something, they may be able to help you get the software to try requesting the certificate again.)

@mohamed95 I'm sorry I didn't look closely at your log file when you posted it. I appreciate your providing this information, but after reviewing it, I also still think we don't have enough information to understand the problem. Specifically, the log file does not include any error from Icewarp about Let's Encrypt being unable to issue a requested certificate.

The log at Issue with let's encrypt ICEWARP MAIL SERVER - #12 by mohamed95 shows the ACME directory and other ACME traffic between the ACME client and ACME server, so that IP address clearly isn't blocked.

Features in IceWarp such as video/audio conferencing, and mobile device synchronization are extra. It's also possible to purchase additional antispam and antivirus for your server. These are reflected in the infographic. SmarterTools also offers additional synchronization options for mobile and desktop, as well as additional antispam and antivirus options. These are reflected in the infographic.

Where the two products diverge is in their client support. IceWarp offers their own branded clients for Windows and MacOS, which connect and sync to IceWarp and offer a number of collaboration features similar to other, more popular desktop clients. SmarterTools does not have a branded email client, and instead is built to integrate with existing clients such as Microsoft Outlook, eM Client, Spark, Apple Mail and more. Rather than build our own client and force customers to use that in order to get a full collaboration experience, SmarterMail offers that via the email clients users actually prefer.

IceWarp offers a product called "Outlook Sync" which is an Outlook plug-in that offers "emails, calendar, contacts, tasks and notes" integration between Outlook and IceWarp, and has some of the features available when connecting Outlook to an Exchange server. (E.g., color Category synchronization.) However, this is another piece of software that's required in order to get any level of synchronization and collaboration with Outlook.

SmarterMail offers server-side support for Outlook via the Microsoft MAPI protocol. SmarterMail is, in fact, the only other email and collaboration server outside of Exchange that offers this level of integration between Outlook and a mail server. It goes beyond color Category synchronization and offers features such as distribution lists, sending "On Behalf of" and other enterprise-level features users rely on when using Outlook with Exchange. MAPI is also licensed on a per-server basis and can be managed by system or domain administrators, and on a mailbox-by-mailbox basis.

While Icewarp offers a standalone MacOS client, for other MacOS email, calendar and contact apps, they only support standard protocols such as IMAP and POP3. SmarterMail supports the Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS) protocol. This is the protocol used by Mac clients such as Apple Mail and Outlook for Mac, as well as eM Client for Windows. EWS brings a very high level of integration between SmarterMail and these clients and provides users with increased functionality compared to connecting via more traditional methods, such as via IMAP. IceWarp, so far, has no plans to support EWS.

Both products support standard email protocols such as IMAP and POP3. These protocols work in any email client available, though without some of the more functional components like sharing of collaboration items. (E.g., sharing calendars.) In addition, SmarterMail supports CardDAV and CalDAV for synchronizing contacts and calendars (respectively), which are also supported by most standard desktop clients, as well as standalone calendar and contact apps, scheduling services, etc.
