Hi

Thank you for reporting the issue. However, I haven't worked on this project in over 11 years, so significant changes would likely be required to make it compatible with modern systems using Python 3.

I suspect the project has very few, if any, active users today, and unless there’s a compelling reason to revisit it, I don’t think it would be a proportional use of my time to address this. However, I’ve updated the GitHub codebase to reflect this: https://github.com/tjansson60/sinthgunt/blob/master/README.md.
