Single Phase Compressible Flow with EoS

Hello everyone! I'm trying to do a single phase flow simulation with CO2. I want to use a Equation of State, like Peng-Robson, to compute CO2 properties. I actually managed to do a simulation  with a black-oil model, using exponetial law to compute CO2 density. I want to know if there is a simple way to do this, or if someone already done it. Hi,

 

The compositional module supports Peng-Robinson and other equations of state. There is no ready made setup for accurately predicting CO2 densities, but it should be possible to find in the literature. There is also the co2lab-mit which uses EOS to compute blackoil-like tables for simulation of CO2.

Hi,

I could add that there are also functionality in the mrst-co2lab module for providing CO2 density and viscosity as function of temperature and pressure, based on sampled tables.  You can have a look at co2lab-common/utils/co2props for the function addSampledFluidProperties, and co2lab-ve/fluids/makeVEFluid for how it is used in the creation of a fluid object.
