GRDECL Model exported from Petrel results in wrong grid geometry

Good day all,

I have been trying to load some GRDECL models from Petrel into MRST. 

When importing a model with large cell increments (e.g. 5000x5000), everything seems to run fine and smoothly, no errors given.

But when I try to load a model that has smaller cell increments (in this case 500x500), I receive a warning about wrong geometry in grid. 

As I tried to fix this issue using the recommended RepairZCORN option, it gives me an error.

Wrong grid reading essentially hinders me in the subsequent work in the MRST, as it seems to not read pore volumes correctly (?). 

Any help with resolving this issue would be extremely appreciated!

Hi,

Unfortunately, this one of those cases that is very hard to diagnose without additional information.  While we cannot exclude the possibility of a programming error in the 'processGRDECL' function, I would need to know more about your input data before I can determine the underlying reason.  Would you be able to share your 500-by-500 model with me?
