Question about the HFM module

Hello everyone! In the HFM module tab on the official website (https://www.sintef.no/projectweb/mrst/modules/hfm/), it is stated  "Note that the 3D solvers are not capable of handling intersecting fracture planes.". But I am pretty sure there are functions to compute 3D frac-frac NNCs, which would require handling intersecting fracture planes. Is the site info old? If the infomation is acurate, how the module compute the frac-frac NNCs?

Hi!

Thank you for notifying us. The part of our website that discusses the different modules has unfortunately not been updated in a long time. The initial implementation in release 2016b, which the page you refer to discusses, was mainly developed for 2D simulations. In release 2017b, researchers from Heriot-Watt university upgraded the module to include full 3D capabilities. I have now added a text stating this explicitly.
