Hi,

I'm new on MATLAB, and I'm working on CO2 storage project which involves dynamic simulation.

I already have the static geological model built with petrel for a local site.

Can anybody be of help on how to load the model into MRST, possibly with video tutorials and/or example codes I can edit to model CO2 capacities and plume extent.

I will truly appreciate any help I can get

Thanks.

Ubon Mkpese.

Hi!

I think a starting point is the tutorial found under examples/grids/gridTutorialCornerPoint.m. This demonstrates how to load a corner point grid in GRDECL format into MRST's data structures and gives details on how this works in MRST. From there, you can go on to the examples in the co2lab module that make use of this structure. Petrel can export GRDECL files and we support most features of these grids.

Best regards,
Olav
