I believe that bringing the Wii-era LEGO games to the Nintendo Switch would be huge for the platform. I feel that those games alone would be enough for many people to buy a switch in the first place, and I think it would show a lot of good faith from TT Games (and the companies who licensed out those games).

I grew up playing many Wii lego games with my friends. Games such as LEGO: Indiana Jones, Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars - The Complete Saga, and Star Wars III - The Clone Wars. My friends and I would bring our Wii disks over to each other's house and spend hours completing every aspect of those games. Star Wars The Complete Saga specifically was my favorite game of the lot, as it was the first Wii game I ever owned. As I've gotten older I have bought that game on every platform I can, but I haven't been able to get back the social aspect I once had when growing up.

This is where the Nintendo Switch comes into play. The switch is the perfect device to share new experiences of old games among friends. It has the potential to make old games more accessible than ever before, and prevent them from being lost to time. In one case it already has. Currently, Lego Harry Potter has been brought back by TT Games. I hope that they bring back the other lego games from the Wii era so that those of us who grew up with these games can experience them once again. I believe bringing back Lego Batman and Star Wars TCS would be the most impactful, but seeing all of the old games again would be nice. I know that TT Games is working on The Skywalker Saga, but nothing will have the charm that the old games once had.

I am no game designer, but it seems like porting these games to the switch would take minimal effort. It would be huge for fans of the games, and if people are anything like me they'd be willing to pay full price to play these games once more. The audience appeal for these games must go beyond just those who would buy for nostalgic purposes though. They are timeless games that will forever be fun to play for people of all ages. They are simple, but their simplicity is their strength. With games becoming more and more interactive and in-depth, sometimes what we need is to just go back to what was good and true.

If you agree with me please sign this petition, send it to your friends and family, and share your experiences playing the old Lego games in the comments. Thus far I have referred to these games as "Wii era" but it refers to the Lego games on the 6th generation of home consoles. If you played them on an Xbox or Playstation this applies to you all the same. For us to have any chance to "save" our beloved games we need to show the community how much they matter to us.

Hi.
I'm trying to play Lego lord of the rings with the Wii U, the game says "press + to start" after the demo, problem is that the + button wont work. Remote is fine but in the game the +button just wont work. Game is brand new and the remote/remotes are brand new aswell. I have not tryed any other Wii-game (dont have any) but i heard that they should work in the Wii U just fine.
if someone could help me and my kids i would really appreciate.
