Communityis an American television sitcom which premiered on NBC on September 17, 2009, and ended on June 2, 2015. The series creator Dan Harmon served as showrunner for all seasons, except season four in which David Guarascio and Moses Port served as co-showrunners.[1][2] The series follows a group of students at a community college in the fictional locale of Greendale, Colorado. The series heavily uses meta-humor and pop culture references, often parodying film and television clichs and tropes.[3][4]
The series stars Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Ken Jeong, and Chevy Chase, with Jim Rash being promoted from recurring to series regular in season three.[5][6] In season four, following an incident on set, Chase departed the series.[7][8] In the fifth episode of season five, Glover left the series,[9][10] followed by Brown in the season finale.[11][12]
During the course of the series, 110 episodes of Community aired over six seasons. The first season of Community aired from September 17, 2009, through May 20, 2010. On March 5, 2010, NBC renewed the series for a second season,[13] which aired from September 23, 2010, through May 12, 2011. The series was renewed for a third season on March 17, 2011.[14] The third season aired from September 22, 2011, and concluded on May 17, 2012. The series was renewed for a fourth season on May 10, 2012.[15] The fourth season ran from February 7 to May 9, 2013.[16] The day after the season four finale, NBC announced it had renewed the series for a fifth season;[17] the season ran from January 2 through April 17, 2014.[18] A month later NBC announced that the series had been canceled.[19] Yahoo! Screen picked it up for a sixth and final season,[20] which ran from March 17 to June 2, 2015.[21][22]
The first season of Community premiered on September 17, 2009, and ended on May 20, 2010. NBC initially ordered 13 episodes, later ordering an additional nine in October and another three in January for a total of 25.[23][24]
The third season of Community premiered on September 22, 2011, and ended on May 17, 2012. It consists of 22 episodes. On November 14, 2011, NBC announced that they were placing Community on hiatus in favor of 30 Rock.[76] Immediately following this there was a fan-campaign demanding that Community be returned to the schedule.[77] The campaign utilized the phrase "six seasons and a movie", which first appeared in the episode "Paradigms of Human Memory". The phrase went on to be used in the future by both fans and the creative team when the show was faced with cancellation.[78] On February 21, 2012, the return date of the show was stated to be March 15.[79]
The fourth season of Community premiered on February 7, 2013, and ended on May 9, 2013. It consists of 13 episodes.[15] This was the only season of the show to not have Dan Harmon as showrunner, being replaced by Moses Port and David Guarascio.[101] The season was initially scheduled to premiere on October 19, 2012, airing in a new time slot on Fridays at 8:30 pm ET.[102] However, in early October 2012 NBC delayed the premiere.[103] They later released a video of the cast of Community, in character, addressing the delay of the season premiere; this video humorously claimed that October 19 is merely a "state of mind".[104][105] On October 30, NBC announced the new release date, returning it to its original time slot of Thursdays at 8:00 pm ET.[106]
The fifth season of Community premiered on January 2, 2014, and ended on April 17, 2014. It consists of 13 episodes. This was the final season of the series to air on NBC.[19][120] Following NBC's cancellation there were talks for the show to be moved to Hulu; the series was ultimately picked up by Yahoo! Screen.[121]
The sixth season of Community premiered on March 17, 2015, and ended on June 2, 2015. It consists of 13 episodes. This was the only season to air on Yahoo! Screen.[134] Yahoo! considered a seventh season but due to contractual issues did not renew the series.[135] Shortly after Yahoo! Screen was itself discontinued due to large financial losses.[136]
On September 30, 2022, after long speculation, it was officially announced that a feature length film would be released by the streaming service Peacock. The film will see the return of original cast members Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong.[138][139] In April 2023, Donald Glover confirmed his involvement in the film.[140] Per series creator Dan Harmon, Yvette Nicole Brown is set to return.[141]
The 5 As of Greendale is a webisode series that appeared before Community's pilot was broadcast. The videos are set up as informational videos featuring dean of admissions Pat Isakson (Dan Harmon) welcoming potential students to Greendale Community College.[142][143]
The Community College Chronicles are two webisodes that act as Abed Nadir's student films. The webisodes parody events that happen on Community. In the episode "Debate 109", the webisodes were seen by the characters making them believe Abed can see the future.[144] The webisodes also appeared as part of the A/V department's page on the Greendale Community College's website.[145][146]
Spanish Videos are two webisodes featuring Star-Burns (Dino Stamatopoulos), Abed (Danny Pudi), and Seor Chang (Ken Jeong). Seor Chang assigns the class a video assignment and Abed and Star-Burns make a space epic.[147]
I think your commentary here is spot on. I watched the episode and the messaging was, like you say, overall wholesome, and was thinking, is this really the right dialogue? Let people watch it and decide for themselves.
What standards does netflix use to draw these lines?! Comedians like Chappelle who minstralise and encourage redicule of marginalised minorities are tolerated and in-house produced. Comedians and actors with unrepetent sexual harassment or assault in their CVs like Louis CK are also welcome. Fake history shows with fully racist premises (i.e. aliens built the pyramids) are plugged.
In this series, we will hear and learn from current and old Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors about their personal experiences with the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Program and why they think students should join and be a part of the program and community.
Today, I will be interviewing David Attamah, a Gold Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador. An Electronic Engineering student from University of Nigeria in Enugu State, Nigeria. He loves everything Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program provided a platform for me to develop skills, engage with a vibrant community of fellow ambassadors, Microsoft MVPs, Cloud Advocates, and most importantly, Microsoft employees. This is one of the best Student Ambassadors program and I can confidently say that it stands at the top of similar programs.
This program gave me the energy to try out things I never thought I could do. I got introduced to Microsoft tools and technologies; Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, et cetera. I had the opportunity of hosting over 30 skilling events both online and in-person.
I have mentored both prospective student and current student ambassadors. I have collaborated with fellow student ambassadors in one initiative or another. There is this particular one that I lead with 5 other student ambassadors where fellow ambassadors had to sign up every quarter to participate to skill up their community in Microsoft technologies. Up to 1000 individuals benefited through such initiative by getting free Microsoft certification exam vouchers.
We all have different capacities and strengths and this all boils down to time management. Making sure that the program does not get in your way as a student. Finally, be sure to have fun as an Ambassador.
A lot of these benefits can be seen in the previous question I answered. But being specific, aside from the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Program swags I have received, I have free access to some premium platforms and tool like Microsoft 365, LinkedIn Learning, Visual Studio Enterprise subscription.
I have received free Microsoft exam vouchers. This program increased my confidence. I have sent proposals to Vice Chancellors of different schools to introduce Microsoft technologies in their school. A good number accepted my proposal. I have spoken at events in some of these schools like Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu.

Objective: The primary aim of this study was to compare the impact of NAVIGATE, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, team-based treatment approach for first-episode psychosis designed for implementation in the U.S. health care system, with community care on quality of life.
Results: The 223 recipients of NAVIGATE remained in treatment longer, experienced greater improvement in quality of life and psychopathology, and experienced greater involvement in work and school compared with 181 participants in community care. The median duration of untreated psychosis was 74 weeks. NAVIGATE participants with duration of untreated psychosis of
Conclusions: Comprehensive care for first-episode psychosis can be implemented in U.S. community clinics and improves functional and clinical outcomes. Effects are more pronounced for those with shorter duration of untreated psychosis.
Currently, when Apple Podcast is done playing one episode of a series, e.g., Wondery+, instead of playing the next episode it cues up to something entirely different, or stops playing altogether. Then I have to go through the process of searching through menus until I find the next episode I want.
Yes same experience. However there are a few random podcasts that populate the play next with their entire series for no apparent reason. I could not find any difference in the settings etc as to why this happens
