Hi all!

Just in case you weren't aware of the complete awesomeness we have in store, Voltaire is headlining the Addams-Munster Wedding Reception at Cafe Du Nord this Friday, Oct 29th. Opening act 5 Cent Coffee is a perennial local favorite that went on hiatus about a year ago to raise their young one and we're super stoked to have them back! DJs Skip (New Wave City), Xander (Dancing Ghosts), Fact 50 (Vernian Process) and Ron1n (DLVNmedia).

Advance tickets are only $16 at with no service fee at Wicked Grounds or Dark Garden or online at http://lb.vg/jzt58. Dance lessons will be provided in Waltz, Swing and hopefully American Tango.

Here's what the mother of the bride had to say:

"Oui, we are so full of joy that our daughter will be entering into the fine tradition of marriage with a young man who has a little animal in him; ses sauvage.

At first, when they told me Voltaire would be there, I was a bit perturbed that they had raised him from the grave given that his last words were, "For God's sake, let me die in peace." But, I must admit I was ambivalent, as he is such a hero of mine, and I do so love a rousing game of "Wake the Dead."

However, since the children have exposed me to this new Voltaire, I must admit to have grown rather fond of him. "When You're Evil" is such a delightful tango and Gomez does thrill me so, his singing along during the dips...

Which makes me realize, it has been hours since Gomez and I last danced--"The Headless Waltz" calls to me; adieu mon cheres.
