I believe you have got it all wrong Lalin. This makes it easy for you to type Sinhala words. Type "pradesheeya" and "pradeshaya" for example and check how valuable it is.

මේක බොහොම හොඳ! Absolutely valuable, much nicer than having to type literally, transliteration is fantastic.  I just tried it and it works amazingly well.  I hope Google will add it in their drop down menu on the compose mail area in the body.  Right now I see some languages such as Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Russian, etc. not සිංහල

හැබෑමයි. මම එකපාරටම දැක්කෙ නෑ - අක්ෂරපරිවර්තකය- දන්න එක්කෙනෙක් තවත් විස්තර ලිකක් මේ ගුගල් ලැබ් ව්‍යාපෘතිය ගැන කියන්න.

සිංහල යුනිකෝඩ් ජනප්‍රිය කරවන්නත් මෙය ඉතා වැදගත් දෙයක් වෙනවා.
මට හිතෙන්නේ මෙවැනි දෙවල් තවත් ඉස්සරහට විය යුතුයි.
ඊට සහය දෙන සියල්ලන්ටම අන් අයගේ සහය ලැබිය යුතුයි,
ඔවුන්ව දිරිමත් කල යුතුයි.අපි එහෙම කලොත්,
google transliterate වලට සිංහල දාන්න හැකිවුවා නම් google Translate වලට
සිංහල දාන්න බැරි විමට හේතුවක් නෑ.‍
