My Pen drive is write Protected

My pen drive is not functioning well from 5,6days saying that the pen
drive is write protected.The pen drive is containing a file
called"q1alx.exe" which is suspected to to be a virus.I have tried to
alter its(pen's) assigned permissions(read and execute)with linux as
root.But it was also not successfull.
Can some one help me with this problem!!!!!

හොඳ virus guard එකක් තියෙන පරිගණකයකට සවි කරලා scan කරල බැලුවෙ නැද්ද?
මම දාගෙන ඉන්නෙ Kaspersky. ඔය වගේ පිස්සු නටපු පෙන් ඩ්රයිව් කීපයක්ම
මම "සනීප" කරලා තියෙනවා :)
