Singlish Real-time Transliteration - Chrome extension

I have developed this Singlish Real-time transliteration extension for Chrome

I have set all users of this group as test accounts. You may download and review this extension.

Once you install this, an icon "සි" on the top right corner of the page.

When you hover on the icon, a drop down should appear. Select transliteration/encoding you want, and then you can type Sinhala then and there, no need to copy and paste.

this is not working on gmail... :( 

it is nice if we can have a shortcut key to get activated. :)

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I see, it is still working for text areas and input boxes only. Gmail uses an editable DIV instead textarea. So it should be same in Wordpress and any TinyMCE input. That is less than perfect, and I will look in to that soon.

It will be possible to make it work for Gmail too. :-)

Shortcut icons are not well supported in current Chrome version. It would be available in future versions of Google Chrome.
