Special issue of Journal of Optics

Journal of Optics has recently published online a special issue
dedicated to the subject of Singular Optics. All of the papers in the
issue are freely available through the journal website until November
so if you wish to read any paper in this issue please go to:

The issue was inspired by the 4th International Conference in Singular
Optics, which took place 15–20 September 2008 in Alushta, Crimea,
Ukraine, co-chaired by Professors Michael Berry (Bristol, UK), Marat
Soskin (Kiev, Ukraine) and Alexander Volyar (Simferopol, Ukraine).

The issue comprises of 24 papers including two review articles:
- Geometrodynamics of polarized light: Berry phase and spin Hall
effect in a gradient-index medium
