Withthe use of our intelligent sensors, data can be collected remotely and automatically saved as online reports for easy access, allowing for real-time monitoring and digital documentation for quality assurance and legal purposes.

At Maturix, we are passionate about improving the construction industry by harnessing the value of new and emerging technology. However, we understand the apprehension with new prospects; therefore, we are happy to facilitate demos, trials, and free online meetings with one of our Maturix experts.

Maturix is the smart solution addressing the needs of the construction and concrete industry. Our aim is to increase the ease of collecting, analysing and understanding your businesses data, through wireless sensing solutions.

As soon as the concrete reaches your predefined target value, Concremote will automatically notify you in real-time by text message or email. So you can instantly get going on your next construction steps, saving you time and costs on your jobsite.

Calibration of your concrete mixes enables you to assess the best mixture. Before construction work starts you can opt for the concrete mix that will be the most cost-effective for your planned cycle time.

Concremote measures continuously. If temperature differences in the structure start to go critical, you can react right away with the measures that will protect the quality of your concrete. And you have access to Concremote data as a curing log as the as-built quality-assurance records.

Concremote's forecasting feature allows you to predict the development of compressive strength in order to plan upcoming tasks better, such as stripping already on Friday or rather after the weekend.

At Concrete Sensors, we strive to continually improve job site safety and productivity with our newest innovations, including solutions that provide more accurate, real-time information about your job site concrete, helping you make faster and better decisions.

SmartRock Wireless Concrete Sensors provide a versatile solution for monitoring concrete temperature and strength through wireless data recording and real-time strength calculations. These sensors facilitate seamless reporting of maximum and minimum temperatures, as well as temperature differentials. Each sensor records temperatures from both the sensor body and the probe to collect comparative temperature data. Supplied in packages of 10.

The SmartRock wireless concrete sensors are designed to be fully embedded in fresh concrete within 2in (50mm) of the surface by attaching to the rebar. Start time is initiated when the white temperature probe end is removed from the sensor body. Each sensor is equipped with a fully charged battery designed to last four months after activation. Reading range is -22 to 181F (-30 to 85C). Sensor dimensions are 3.125x1.625x1.03in (80x42x26mm), WxDxH.

The SmartHub automatically collects SmartRock sensor data and uploads it to the Giatec 360 cloud dashboard, making it possible to access concrete temperature and strength data from anywhere on any device. SmartHub monitoring provides custom alerts and ultimately eliminates site visits. CTA-700 SmartHub connects with standard sensors, and CTA-701 SmartHub connects with long-range sensors.

SmartRock allows for an easy way to report on the maximum, minimum, and temperature differential of your placed concrete without relying on painstakingly wired systems and data loggers. Get highly accurate data directly on your phone in real time!

SmartRock allows you to monitor the strength of your placed concrete in real time on your phone. Reduce or eliminate your reliance on field-cured cylinders (or cubes) and potentially deliver your project ahead of schedule and under budget.

SmartRock can be easily integrated with any construction project management software. Automatically populate data on concrete quality on your preferred platform to generate action items and triggers on the next steps of your construction project.

The sensor transmitter must be installed no more than 2 inches (5 cm) from the concrete surface. This is to enable strong wireless signal strength for continued connectivity to the sensor, even long after it has been installed in concrete.

When the SmartRock sensor is installed inside concrete as recommended, it can transmit up to 40 ft (12 m). When the black transmitter is exposed, the range of the wireless signal can be up to 100 ft (30 m). Longer connection range can be obtained with the SmartRock-Long Range in conjunction with the SmartHub-Long Range with which data can be transmitted for up to (300m) when the body of the sensor is embedded at recommended depth and up to 1000ft (800m) when the body is placed outside the concrete.

The sensor takes a measurement every 15 minutes, allowing it to collect data for 2 months. However, the battery life extends for up to 4 months. This enables the user to retrieve the data for an extra 2 months once the memory is full.

The SmartRock 3 is available in two different lengths; the shorter cable has a length of 12 in (30 cm), while the longer cable can measure concrete temperature up to 10 ft (3 m) inside your concrete structure. By request, we also offer 50 ft (15.2 m). Contact our team if you are not sure what sensor would be the best suited for your application.

The QR code on the SmartRock 3 sensor is a feature for tagging sensors on the mobile application. The application will guide you through adding new sensors to your projects. To do so, the application will prompt you to scan the QR code on the sensor.

Anytime the temperature probe (the white cable) is removed from the sensor, this activates the sensor. The LED light located on top of the sensor body will blink 3 times to indicate that the sensor was properly activated and is ready to be used.

The SmartRock 3 has three main physical components, the white cable, the sensor body, and a rubber installation strap. The activation and installation procedure was enhanced from 2 metal wires that were twisted around the rebar in the SmartRock 2 generation, to a rubber strap meant to tightly install and secure the sensor. The installation strap was specially designed to install the sensors on different sizes and types of rebar. It can also withstand 40 lbs of force.

EXACT TRACK is a digital precast production and quality tracking solution. It is designed to adapt to your workflow to produce the highest quality concrete products, simplify reporting and give management a real-time overview on key performance indicators.

Running temperature measurements of your pour after placement is one of the most important steps in the construction of a concrete structure. That is why ensuring optimal curing conditions for your element is critical, especially during extreme weather conditions. The hydration process (the chemical reaction between hydraulic cement and water) can be drastically impacted if freshly placed concrete is exposed to temperatures that are too high or too low, compromising the strength development of a mix design. Furthermore, if temperature differentials are too high, thermal cracking can occur. By closely checking temperature measurement variances with concrete temperature thermometers during element curing, you will ensure that the strength, quality, and durability of your structure are acceptable.

When monitoring concrete temperature, one of the most commonly-used devices is thermocouples. There are wired sensors also known as concrete thermometers. The end of the thermocouple is placed at a specific location prior to the pour and wired outside of the formwork. Depending on the type of system, thermocouples are then attached to a data logger which is used to record the temperature measurements at certain time intervals.

Another variant of wired systems is a data logger/transmitter that sits outside the concrete in the form of a box connected to a number of temperature sensors. The transmitter uploads the data to the cloud server using wireless or cellular transmission technology. However, with these devices, the process of gathering, recording, and analyzing data is both time-consuming and labour-intensive.

For this reason, game-changing wireless systems, like SmartRock, are being used on jobsites more often. With this method, temperature data is gathered, recorded, and analyzed entirely in an app. Not only does this save time, but it also reduces labour costs.

This method allows for highly accurate data to be collected and reported. Additionally, it enables project members to make timely and well-informed decisions onsite regarding the temperature of their element during the curing stages.

With a newly refined technology of concrete curing thermometer, the data can be accessed from any smart device through wireless communication. This capability allows for more freedom and security by removing the risk of damaging wires, mislabeling sensors, and general human error associated with data acquisition and interpretation. Throughout the data-gathering process, there is no need for last-minute repairs or adjustments once the sensor is placed in the concrete. The installation process is fast and simple, enabling nearly anyone onsite to implement temperature monitoring.

With the addition of the SmartHub remote monitoring system, users can access concrete temperature thermometer data from anywhere rather than needing to be onsite. The Hub automatically collects data recorded by your SmartRock sensors and uploads it to the Giatec 360 cloud via LTE/Wi-Fi connection. This minimizes delays and saves you from wasting time and money by eliminating the need for additional workers on your jobsite to collect and analyze data.
