Super Mario Land is a platformer game originally released on the Game Boy in 1989 in Japan and America, and later in 1990 in European territories.
The game follows Mario as he adventures through Sarasaland's many kingdoms (Birabuto, Muda, Easton, and Chai) to save their monarch Princess Daisy from Tatanga, an alien being who has mindcontrolled all of Sarasaland's inhabitants and kidnaps the princess to make her his queen.
I'm only 10 years old and never played a lot mario games but am fan of mario sine am 5, i played some classics on an emulator on my tablet (retrogames) and get finnaly an Nintendo Switch! I love the music of Mario and i finnaly find this website!

nice game. i put it in the /userdata/windows folder on my batocera v39 pc (i3). and made a .WSquashFS from it. it runs very good, fast fps, and has good controls with joystick/gamepad when i map the gamepad to key from within the game's option menu in batocera.(not ingame, but the menu in batocera itself - in emulation station) however, i notice there is no music or it is absent. is the game supposed to have any music (sound fx are playing ok) or doesnt it have any music ingame in the menu or whatsoever ?
