Goddamn, I just spent 20 minutes winning a paging contest with their infinite scroll (it does stop!). I think there's exactly the right percentage of things that look neat to keep me going among the jewelry and sassy coffee mugs. Thing's like a slot machine.

I could not support this more if I were fracking Atlas himself. 

I recently talked to a guy who runs a media site (celebrity and fashion photos mostly) and he said that Pinterest has DWARFED Twitter and Facebook in inbound traffic. It is a slot machine. A pretty, pretty slot machine.

I also think this is a really funny write-up. Shopping is *not* about accumulating stuff. Shopping is about looking at pretty things and imagining the life you'd have w/ and around those objects. Pinterest is not half-shopping, it IS shopping.
