Service Opportunity

If you can't make tomorrow night's recycling bar crawl, here's another
service opportunity that might interest you!


The Clarke County DFCS Halloween Carnival is scheduled for Monday
October 26, 2009 from 500-700 pm, and they are looking for volunteers
to set up and run "fun stations" and bring supplies for them -
typical to what you'd see at a Halloween Carnival - bobbing for
apples, relay races, face painting, a cupcake walk, pumpkin bowling
etc. They are also accepting donations of paper goods, sodas / juice
boxes, Halloween Decorations (for the haunted house), chips, candy,
sweets and large things of condiments (ketchup and mustard). They
also need assistance the afternoon of Sunday, October 26th, in setting
up the Haunted House. Any help you can offer would be greatly
appreciated by families in the community! A flyer advertising the
carnival is attached for you to post.
