If you aren't participating in MLK Day, you can stop reading here. :)

For those who are participating, I'm resending the instructions for
Monday. Because I signed up so many of you manually, I wanted to make
sure you did receive the instructions. Remember - dress warmly, and
bring work gloves and rakes and loppers if you have them (please mark
with your name!).

This is a reminder that you are registered to participate in
SingleServe- Oglethorpe Ave. Elem. Nature Trail Cleanup on January 18,
2010 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM with Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School.

Location:
Oglethorpe Elementary
1150 Oglethorpe Ave.
Athens, GA 30606

From Prince Ave., turn left onto Oglethorpe Ave. (Pizza Hut and Navy
School are on the corner). Stay straight on Oglethorpe Ave. through
two signals. You will pass the Fire Station on the right, then turn
right into Oglethorpe Ave. Elementary School.

Volunteers will sign in at the front desk. Staff will be present to
greet volunteers and direct them to the Conference.

Information:
We will remove privet, kudzu, and other invasive plants from the
forest near the Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School Nature Trail. This
will involve cutting and uprooting these invasive plants, dragging the
debris to established brush piles, and stacking the brush on the
piles.

This project has been adopted by SingleServe, an initiative of HandsOn
Northeast Georgia to organize regular volunteer opportunities for
single young professionals and adults.

Please bring gloves, garden rake, loppers, and make sure you dress
warmly!

Please keep this email. It is the only place where you'll find the
project's address information.

If for some reason you cannot participate, follow the link below to go
to the "My Account" at the HandsOn Northeast Georgia web site where
you can remove yourself from the "My Projects" section:
