I am interested in any opening for a PhD program that will focus on studies in cancer stem cell metabolism and/epigenetics using single cell methods and microfludic techniques.
My undergraduate is in medicine and I hold a postgraduate fellowship in Anatomic pathology.
My major work involves histopathologic diagnosis of surgical specimens especially cancerous lesions and I have been involved in lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate students as well.
Now, I would wish to study the metabolism of cancer cells in the laboratory. This will enable me to investigate certain hypothesis which have been accumulating in my mind over the years.
I will most gratefully appreciate any information that will guide me in my quest.
Dear Single Cell colleagues,
We have a Researcher or Postdoc position currently open in Dr. Weian Zhao's laboratory at UC Irvine. The ideal candidate should have a background in bioengineering, microfluidics, single cell analysis, system integration or a related field. Please let me know if you have any graduating PhDs or other connections that might be interested. Feel free to circulate around. The project is funded by a startup company and therefore the candidate will gain experience in product development and commercialization.
thank you,
Weian Zhao
