As we've previously mentioned membership is moderated and all postings are visible to the public at the following website:

Lastly we ask that everyone respect our posting guidelines: Postings must be related to Single Cell Biology. Anyone posting on unrelated topics will be warned and subsequent violations will result in removal from the forum. Job postings at all levels are welcome. Vendors may post product announcements but may not use the site and list for general advertisement.

Dear Single Cell Bio Team,

 

Feel  happy to be part of this initiative. Though it is almost 30 months since I attended an excellent training course on “Single Cell Biology” at Cold Spring Harbor laboratories” in 2013, I am just getting into actual single cell biology studies this year. We have procured Fluidigm C1 and Biomark HD systems but I am aware that these two instruments alone will not cover all the experiments because of their several limitations including cell size. In this context more discussion would be very helpful in this forum on recently technologies such as Drop-Seq (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0092867415005498) to facilitate high-throughput processing of single cells without any restrictions on cell size.

 

Cynthia, Hi there! Is Eberwine also part of this group? You conducted a great “Single Cell Biology” course at Cold Spring Harbor laboratories” in 2013 and I appreciate all the help.
