Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to attend the 5th Annual Single Cell Analysis Program Investigators Meeting, sponsored by the NIH Common Fund.  The event will be held on June 29-30, 2017 on the NIH Campus in Bethesda, MD.  This will be the final investigators meeting for the NIH Single Cell Analysis Program and we hope it will be bigger and better than all the previous ones – the program has been a great success and we’ve seen a lot of the projects go on to be successfully funded in other programs and greater awareness of cellular heterogeneity in the biomedical research community in general, so we hope this will be a great way to close out program.

We will follow up when the website is available for registration in January and to give more details about posters and presentations as well as other details of the meeting. In addition to asking you to save the date, we would also like to ask for volunteers to help organize breakout sessions – we’ve had very successful breakout sessions at the past two meetings and a number of people have expressed interest in having more breakout sessions this year in topics ranging from data standards to integrating imaging and ‘omics methods and understanding how cellular organization in tissues modifies cell state. If you would like to volunteer to help organize a breakout session, or have any other suggestions regarding the meeting (such as speakers you would like to hear from) please contact us at singl...@mail.nih.gov. During the meeting we will also give updates on single cell analysis funding opportunities, have feedback sessions of the program and announce the winners of the “Follow that Cell” challenge.

As a reminder, this is an open meeting and you do not need to be a funded investigator to attend the meeting; so please share the details of the meeting with any of your colleagues who may be interested. We look forward to seeing you in June!

Thank you,

The NIH Single Cell Analysis Program Workgroup
