Dear Colleagues

Please could I ask you to forward this onto individuals who might be interested in large single-cell screens: www.devilontwosticks.org/news.html (or retweet if that's your thing https://twitter.com/devilon2sticks/status/875836689331216384)?

I've recently started as Head of Advanced Genomics for the Novo diabetes centre, being built opposite Oxford's Big Data Institute: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/01/30/novo-nordisk-sets-aside-brexit-fears-invest-115m-oxford-research/

My team will be running single-cell screens together with CRISPR loss-of-function and secretome gain-of-function perturbations on an industrial scale to study metabolic signalling. It's a rare opportunity, with significant funding to see how far we can meaningfully push single-cell tools in experimental/systems genetics. I'm recruiting experimentalists and computationalists at all career stages.

The Nature Jobs link for a compbio hire is in the link above. It is meant to be a permanent role focused on epistasis modelling, aimed at individuals wanting to use this as a launchpad into their academic/industrial career.

Warmest,
Quin Wills
Head of Advanced Genomics
