Hi there,
I try to detect b-actin mRNA in MEFs by performing smFISH. we designed 36 probes with ATT0633. I do detect a signal in the cytoplasm likely to represent b-actin but it is far away from the nice spots one would expect to see by using smFISH. any idea why? is that mean that my background is too high maybe?
