CCL Teams:

 

Based on your feedback and confirmation, we have reserved the cricket ground at Century Park in Vernon Hills for CCL tournament. Please see below the confirmed ground reservation details (date, day, hours). As you can see, ground reservation slots do not exactly match with our CCL match timings but we should be good. Please read all the below mentioned points carefully as you have some action items and important points to note.

Change in Match Start Timings:

 

·         Based on ground reservation slots, we are forced to make slight changes in the start/end times of all matches.

·         First match now starts at 1:30 PM instead of 2:00 PM.

·         Second match now starts at 4:00 PM instead of 4:15 PM.

·         Tournament schedule with revised match start times will be sent shortly.

·         Early ground occupation responsibility is still applicable for teams with 1:30 PM match start.

 

Reservation Charges:

 

·         After all negotiations, we have been able to obtain a very good deal on pricing.

·         Total cost for reservation is $700 i.e. $100 per team i.e. average of $9.09 per each player in playing 11.

·         See the last page of the attached reservation permit for payment receipt.

·         Please transfer $100 per team to the same a/c you transferred entry fee (Bank Name: Bank Of America; Last Name: Thammineni; Account Number: 001089574789; Zip code: 60060).

·         Reservations are valid for all league matches (w/ some buffer added) i.e. till we reach semi-finals.

·         Reservations for semi-finals and finals will be done in Sept 1^st week, if deemed necessary.

 

Reservation Permit:

 

·         Keep the attached ground reservation permit handy (in mobile at least) as a proof of reservation in case of any conflicts w/ non-CCL parties.

·         Read the park district ground usage policies carefully. Playing teams are responsible to follow them.

·         Park District has the right to cancel the reservations to accommodate local community led not-for-profit activities or for any other reason.

 

Match Reschedule:

 

·         As we clearly stated in the CCL rule book and during our kick-off call, rescheduling is not an option in this tournament.

·         However, if Steering Committee agrees for rescheduling a match  based on some genuine and unforeseeable/uncontrollable situations, ground reservation fee ($50 per match) will have to be borne by ‘reschedule requesting’ team.

·         Match rescheduling due to bad weather (as approved by Steering Committee) can be worked out with Park District by providing them the info at least 2 hrs before the match. No additional fee for this.
