TGC's Brooklyn Choir announcement! (re-posted from the Face Book)

We're gearing up for Christmas and are looking for more voices who want to sing praise and be around a community who share that heart! We usually learn harmonies to current worship songs, as well as keep our reading-chops up with music from our library of sheet music. With Christmas on the horizon we will be adding to our worship/library collection a selection to sing at service (Dec 16?) and some really fun, jazzy, classic carols.... neighborhood caroling anyone?!

I realize meeting on Monday nights have become difficult for some people, so I'm proposing a change of day.  I am also interested in splitting men and women onto different nights for awhile until this Christmas jazz-harmony is learned before joining the groups together.  Leaning towards Monday: Women, Thursdays: Men?  

(We will begin meeting regularly again during the 1st week of October, or as soon as works best for the majority.)
