We're gonna do it again!
7-8pm is OUR choir rehearsal: This is our LAST rehearsal!!
It does NOT need to be memorized, but please rememebr to bring your
music if you need it!!! LukeG is my Second if I'm unable to make it.
Remember the medley lives in the key of C#.
On Sunday (16th) plan to meet at 9:30am in the lobby. We'll find an
empty room where we can warm up, hear our pitches and listen to each
other's beautiful work before singing in service later in the
morning. Where we will sing is still a mystery to me. (During Easter
we sang after WAGO [offering/greeting time]) but that's not
necessarily going to be the same -- so we'll find out that
morning. :) It will be recorded, so wear whatever you think is
appropriate.
8-9pm will be CarolOfTheBells rehearsal: Also the second and last
rehearsal!
We'll work out parts getting comfortable singing it many times before
doing it in front of strangers on the subway. This song would be
better memorized, though you can cheat by writing it on your iPhones,
arms, crosswords, or other "I'm but a normal subway rider...until I
start singing" article. AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!! The more, the better
(and the merrier)! We will be doing the actual subway singing on
Sunday (16th) but plan to meet at 3:30 after brunch at the Atlantic/
Pacific subway station....specific location TBD. We'll update this
email so we're on the same page later.
Unless I'm in labor or recovery, see y'all soon!
Love, Your Mezzo, RuthieB.
