I hope everyone received the NEWEST recording (from last night) alright? Y'all sound GOOD!! (And will, even better!, in a "live" room!)

A few changes:
--We need be there and ready to sing AT 9:15 on Sunday. If you're a slow-poke in the morning (yeah, you!) plan for 9am!
--Meet in the lobby. We'll find an empty classroom and warm up for 10 minutes, then review dynamics, notes, and transitions for 5...then run through once or twice! Wear whatever you want. It will be recorded.
--We are having a blocking/sound check at 9:45-50 and want to be respectful of the worship band/SarahBB's time. We should be warmed up and ready to go by 9:45.
--We sing after WAGO (offering/greeting) and will sit down promptly after (as Chris will be doing the 3rd Advent presentation right after us.)  After we sing, there will be applause! So put on your best "Gloria" smile and acknowledge the appreciation...JustinStreet has promised "thunderous applause from the cheap seats" (No, we don't have to bow as a group on the count of 3.)
--And, very sadly, CarolOfTheBells is officially cancelled for Sunday. But I now join Nate's dream and hope to see it done soon!!! (If not before this Christmas season passes, then next year.)
--IF NATE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT CHOIR SINGING ON THE 18TH HE WILL LET US KNOW :)

HERE ARE THE Reminder/Notes:
--BRING YOUR MUSIC!
--THe standing line up: A nice BIG arch so everyone is seen: Altos-2ndSop(s)-Sopranos-Tenors-Bass with Luke at the end. Luke will play the C# on piano (your 'Do'/root note) give a "1-2-3--1-(2)- The first noel" for ALL the ladies.  Remember the dynamics and swells we added. (People who weren't there, can you hear it in the recording?? =)  I am crowning both Sarah and Armistead representatives for reminding those to y'all on Sunday ;-)
------------------------------------------
--Review your transitions, particularly the one between SilentNight and Angels! Come in strong!! Don't miss a beat between verses or songs...
--First Noel sounds GREAT with the swells added, nice work everyone on your suggestions! On that first Noel (at the refrain) keep in small and build like so: <><  Oh, it sounds so great!
--Cradle rocking on Silent Night. Starts very small and and in that 'Holiest of Holies' place. But don't slow down!
--Remember the crisp quality we want to add to Angels? It's our PraiseGod Song, so keep it peppy and keep building. Speeding up the song and not sitting on the legato-ness of it will help!! Stagger breathing will help! Volume-wise, start at mF and slowly making our way to FF by the last Gloria praise! Only slow down on the final "deo" where we split taking up certain people's harmonies so we can have a higher/fuller chord. (If you don't remmeber, stay on your original note.) And SMILE!

--Listen to each other, stagger breaths, watch your Ts in Silent Night (on the 3.5 beat!) AND DON"T SLOW DOWN!

You guys have been SUCH a JOY to sing with every week. I really do hope to hear you sing live Sunday (and also still really hope to go into labor tonight!)  I want each of you to know how much I love you and how much this community has meant to me. Thank you for your grace and for dealing with BabyBrain these last few months! I think of you all and smile.

I can now happily birth a child having said all this. Congratulations if you made it to the end!
Much, much love,
RuthieB
