That's a challenge J
Let me see if we can organize an Iron Ruby session, typically how long is each session?
Ill see if anyone from DPE can present on this, if not Ill see if I can get up to speed on it myself.
Other things we have been working on have been PHP on Windows Server 2008, if that would be interesting?

Thanks Choon Keat, btw, are the speakers confirmed?
Best,
Herry

Ok
folks, Matthew has kindly offered to get the meetup a place this Thursday @
7pm. And he'll need attendees emailing him, so he can have a name list for
security clearance.

Hm… it’s pretty much just migration from rails 1.x to 2.x, writing Rspecs, and introducing new features, it can be quite boring though.
Herry
I wouldn't have enough time to prepare though, I'm planning to build my
first facebook app, it ever gets done, I'll probably can share a little bit
on that may be in July.
For this meet, if there's no speaker/agenda, we may have to give it a miss.
Just a suggestion for the next meet, we may want to consider having a wiki
page. For those who are coming can leave their name. It may be superficial,
but at least we all know how's the response like.

We could even structure so that the second part could be a debate/
discussion of relative merits. . .

Yeah, poor me, I was just the one that ask are the speakers confirmed. J
I wouldn’t mind to share about Rspec, or stuff that I have done with BookJetty lately,
taken into consideration that it’s informal sharing nothing is prepared, I just need a wi-fi connection.
Since some topics are already covered like Rspec by Douglas, and the others I’d share probably a bit about Ferret, and ar_sendmail, and memcache, which others may have played with, since we have heard it some time ago.
I’m just afraid that it’ll bore the others down, and someone may ask me to compensate for their parking and transport fee.
Facebook wise, Nick, I’ve just started about it, it’s not done yet, that’s why I’m proposing in July, just in case if I can’t finish it by June’s meeting.
So, seems like it’s a very rush decision, to meet or not to meet? I’ll let you all make the call. J
