We've got an amazing 4 speaker lineup for June SLSC.


I won't be able to attend myself due to travel so passing along the awesome speakers to you for any final preparation issues.

Talk 1 - A Year in the Life of a Startup 
by Sharon Lourdes Paul
Description - Launched in September 2012, SPACES is an immersive online platform to discover and book venues in Singapore. During this session, Sharon will provide an inside view of what being "lean" means for a company, including tactical ways the team launched their MVP, and the team's highs and lows whilst discovering their business model.
Speaker - Sharon is the cofounder of SPACES, a site that uses the web/mobile to help promote offline places and solve Singapore's real-estate crunch problem. Born and bred in Singapore, her interests include digital user-experience, boosting Singapore's tech/design startup ecosystem, and the bridge between digital and offline world. Sharon is a graduate from the Singapore Management University (BSc. Economics) and a contributing writer at SGE.io.

Content guidelines:
  • roughly 10 minute talk and then be prepared for 10 min. Q&A
  • Ideally speakers are specifically engaging with lean startup concepts
  • Can focus on practical tips or theory as you see fit
  • Slides recommended but exact approach up to the speaker
  • Need to keep the level fairly introductory as we have quite a few newbs in the crowd
